The problem with the shard meta is obvious. The pony shard is crap compared to most of the others.
On the other hand, i agree with Majofa, lets go wild. A very restricted shard usage (that will mess with the current static meta) could only be fun.

... No, you're not understanding me at all. Why would you be "forced" to put 5 bb? Why would you need 50% of the deck being other shards?

You don't have to use shard of integrity.

No one ever said that they could only use their elements' shards.

I dont understand why everyone seems to see the decision as "Ban all shards" or "Allow all shards". Some shards are clearly stronger (OP) than others. Why should the weaker shards be banned just because some other shards are banned? If you are saying "Because it's most fair to all elements if all shards are allowed/banned equally", that is simply not true, since the shards vary in strength. If people do not want all shards allwed, simply ban those that are deemed OP, not all of them, because that does not make sense to me.

I also support banning cards from some Elements and not others. Not all Elements are equal, but War would be more enjoyable if they were. But at this point it's no longer even about shards, and more about whether or not the community should intervene in the game's balance. That's another topic entirely.

I like what artha said. Instead of adding them to 100% why not add features that balance the use of them, with event cards or with for example relics can be used for shards instead of upgrades.
