Umm, it actually makes a difference when deckbuilding to know who you're fighting.  Fire operatives have been observing Entropy players since before the war started and gathering information.  For example our psychological profile on Rasta is an inch thick and we can anticipate every move he might make due to our extensive intelligence network.

Just saying, it would be nice to know who we're up against.

I think for the next round, Warmaster should either wait to get a PM from Masters/Generals on how many can play or go in and count home element cards in losing decks and subtract that from the vault.  Yeah, that's a lot of work so I'd recommend getting PMs from the Masters.

Going and just checking the Vaults/Standings doesn't help because that's how many cards we have at the beginning of the round, before we lose any matches.  I imagine most teams don't update their Vault until sometime during the deckbuilding phase (and probably towards the end of it).

So making these seedings this quickly just to start the timer is kinda pointless unless you know how many and who will be playing.  I think it just gets players frustrated since they can't work on making any decks since they don't really know who they're playing.  And yes, it matters to know exactly who you're playing, not just the element.  Sometimes you know a certain player tends to play more aggressively or passively or if they favor certain strategies.  It makes a difference in my opinion.

Last time we waited for PM's, deckbuilding got postponed 3-4 days.

I actually checked the Vaults and subtracted cards lost during round 4. I did this for all teams. Problem with :light was that apparently you guys hadn't updated your Vault. I used the unupdated one to make my calculations.

It takes 2 minutes for you guys to edit the Vault, but it might take 20-30 minutes for us organizers to fix the confusion following by us using an outdated Vault. This is something that will be luckily fixed during War #2 when we have someone on the team who is in charge of the Vault, if it still fails, we will start issuing heavy penalties.

I have a very simple fix for this seeding thing. As xdude won't be available for round 5, Antagon from team :fire will take his place.

While you three are worried about each other, time is going to slip through the cracks and make an epic come back that will blow your minds.

Thanks for updating the seeding.  Hopefully xdude will let you (and us) know who's playing soon.

We did update the vault towards the end of the deckbuilding phase of Round 4.  We've been careful about the vault and I just went back from the very beginning and double-checked everything.  The vault was up to date up to the beginning of Round 4.  Instead of us having "apparently not updated your Vault" maybe you accidentally added our cards wrong or something.  Understandable if you did (and not trying to shift the blame back), but I don't like us to be blamed when we've been working hard to keep everything right.

What I guess we need to figure out is the best time to update the vault that lets the Warmaster quickly put out new seedings while also giving teams the flexibility to choose which cards to salvage and discard during their whole deckmaking phase.  Any ideas?

It would be quite epic if MrBlonde and Xinef were the two last men standing after all this fuss.  ::)
