Yes.

Huge marjority of players don't have access to Nymphs, and these are much more powerful than mark cards.  If marks are banned for being rare, then you have to ban Nymphs for being rare too.

i personally think this poll is obsolete, if you make one with "ban earthquake" the result will be similar, but the reasons NOT to ban are still better, some know. i dont think its rewarding making polls about anything, something should stay in the sentence of the organisator(s), and just count the reasons why ppl want to ban marks and why they dont want them to be banned, then you come to the conclusio that reasons for ban are not that reasonable (only i wrote from here is that some ppl even dont know marks, i voted that also as a pro for them, not a contra)

fact is, marks will be banned, or stay banned, and it really doesnt make a great difference

I'd personally say no, just because I know some of the people who joined don't even know about these 'Mark' cards, and probably feel like they would be facing against a 'pseudo'-false god if a person with say, 3  :death marks just randomly showed up.

You may say Nymphs are just as rare and powerful, but I say that anything in the game that provides a extreme long-term investment/production of quanta generation (marks, not Supernovas or Immolation) is even more powerful from the overall benefit it provides to a player.

So again, no. Perhaps in the future though, when multiple other means of quanta generation are implemented, can marks be thrown in the mix for War and whatnot. ;)

I don't really care, since Mark cards aren't really that much different from pillars. But I vote no, just in case some newbie yells "OMFG H4X!" or something like that.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

Due to the rarity of marks, and the fact that most players on the team will not have them, I say why not. Its almost a dead card really. If they want to put in a card only 1-2 of them will be able to use, it's their bad tactics.

No offense, but I think the question is flawed. "Should players be able to use super rare marks?" makes people think they're extra awesome. The firs post also doesn't sound too neutral :P. I bet that if you rephrased the first question into "Should players be able to us Mark cards, which are like pillars, in the war?" the result would've been different

What I say there is the truth. There are maybe a couple of dozen active players who own Mark cards. Then there are thousands of players who have never even seen them. Mark cards are clearly the most rare cards in the game, therefore "super rare".

And if you imply that I'm trying to affect the vote somehow, you are wrong. I personally couldn't care less to be honest. I even voted "I don't care".

I'm a bit torn on this. One one hand I hate needless restrictions, but on the other hand I like simple things. My only concern is that this would lead to "omg he cheated!" type of situations.

You've got to be shitting me? Do you actually believe what you're writing?  Marks are a tiny, tiny, tiny, even minuscule amount better than a pillar, but not really even that much better... nymphs are their own creatures with special highly valued abilities that you can build decks around.  Please show me a deck that wouldnt work if you substitute a pillar for a mark...

I personally think yes.  They are rewards; why limit them?  Also, if you are worried about people being confused, its a great chance to expand the exposure of the forum and the tournaments too.  What a recruiting tool; special cards!

I have made a decision.

Mark cards will be allowed.

Main reason for this is that I don't think we should have restrictions that limit deck building unless we absolutely have to. Shard of Gratitude is a different story because it kills the whole mono/duo thing of this tournament by giving all Teams access to easy healing.

They might cause some confusion, but like others have said, this is a good time to educate people about them, and maybe even get more people interested in tournaments.

So lets go with this and see what happens.

P.s. this poll means absolutely nothing because many people will vote "no" simply because they don't have mark cards.

The mark cards are okey, as it may give one player a buff, but it is useless and placetaking for the rest of the team.
