Elements Creatures with a Transparent Background



Idea of this project is to collect transparent versions of Elements creatures, to be used in projects like War propaganda and topics like this (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,6510.0.html).

If you want to participate, here's what you need to do.

1. Download this file (http://download1285.mediafire.com/dehav6uxza6g/c7nf5sl092umzka/Elements+Creatures+with+Transparent+Background.psd) (Photoshop file, 100% safe) or whatever is the most recent project file
2. Go here (http://elementscommunity.org/art/) and pick a creature. The creature must be 95% visible, meaning no creatures that are missing major body parts.
3. Use Photoshop to remove the background. There are tutorials online if you don't know how.
4. Add the creature to a new layer in the file you downloaded in step 1.
5. Upload the file to http://www.mediafire.com/
6. Post the link here

That's it.

If we get multiple people to help out, we will soon have a nice little PSD-file with all the creature, and we can then use those to create all kinds of cool stuff. I added Anubis to start things off. It's pretty bad actually so I will probably improve it later.

Many of the creatures (most of them with the same coloring as they are in the game) can be found on Sporepedia under their creator's profile.

Searching through the hundreds of creatures takes some time though, but I already did that once for the Elements chessboard (and collected a 40 creature total). I could upload that in a .rar pack or such if there is a need for it (I don't have Photoshop/.psd compatible programs here with me at home).

All the pictures are high-quality, 256x256 .png files with transparent backgrounds, just like this Graviton Merc:

I've already made a few of them in the past, though I just took them off the Cards. Anyone who'd like to replace the white/black background with transparency is welcome to do so, I currently don't have the time to do it.

Wow. I did not know that. Very interesting fact! I did know that the pillars looked a bit similar to spore's graphics, but I didn't realize a lot of creatures came from spore as well!

Man, thanks! I knew that some creatures were from spore, and i knew there would be higher resolution versions somewhere, but i didn't find them until now!
Also... what about weapons? Did someone know something?

I loaded Tiko rar file into a Dropbox shared folder.

Ah, I haven't even noticed the Discord and the Trident was in the same Dir, nice. I know I've had other weapons and shields too, I'll upload those if I came across them.

Trident was there, Discord was added by me, found on Sporepedia.
If you find other weapons, post them, so i can add them to the shared folder on Dropbox.
