So, what are Chromasynthetics exactly? Well, essentially, they're robots (-synth-) that are piloted by amorphous creatures, that appear as sentient entities consisting of floating color (chroma-) cloud. Both the robot and the pilots can be created artificially, however, the process of chromasynthesis isn't discovered yet. One thing worth mentioning is that Chromasynthetic pilots don't live long lives outside of the robotic bodies due to how color works (for things to appear the color that they are, they must absorb all other colors of visible spectrum. This effect is lethal to things that are made of color).
