Why don't the rules just state:
No cards may be removed or added from the actual FG deck with the exception of nymphs and pillars. You may remove nymphs from the FGs deck but not add any.You may use any combination of pillars and/or pendulums.
This way noone is hamstrung with a need to "stay true" to the FG despite the FG's obviously different play conditions.  It also allows players a little leeway in deckbuilding which will help players feel less locked into a deck they would otherwise alter.

What do you think Thelonesun?  And everybody else?

i completely agree with kevkev
the main issue with certain FGs are that some uses cards fueled entirely by their 3xMark (Morte for example) and some like Dream Catcher uses minimal towers because their mark provided much of that quanta and it will be very hard when you dont have 2xdraw and 3xmark
Paradox is a FG that suffer not only from both but also to the exception to the 12 cards limit which is why i suggested adding some Light Pendulums to at least giving it a fair chance

This seems good.

I added those rules to the rule list and took out some.

:o WOW all the GODs have almost all been taken  :o
I glad to see this event taking off!!

I guess my next question is, have you decided how where all gonna fight this out??
Imo I think it would be sweet if we took 2-3 weeks and have Every God vs every other God.  Then total all the records and have #1 vs #2 and #3 vs #4 etc... to break any ties and stuff like that.  Alot of these decks are pron to bad starting hands,  And having a larger pool of games should provide a better over all ranking of your God and make for alot of fun games.

Most of the players that have signed up, participate in tournaments regularly, alot of names played in the last war so I dont think it would be to daunting for everyone to schedule 24 or 25 matchs with opponents.  We could even schedule some 2-3 hour blocks for peeps to hang out in a tournament room fight some of the match's out during the week.

Cant wait to hear how where gonna fight this out :) :)

this tournament limits you a LOT to what you can/cant use...  not to mention these decks will cost a ton.  its pretty much a competition of who can claim the best deck first

Choose your FG
Post it's name. I'll take care of the rest.
No cards may be removed or added from the actual FG deck with the exception of nymphs and pillars.
You may remove nymphs from the FGs deck but not add any.
You may use any combination of pillars and/or pendulums.
Unupped cards ARE allowed, but if a card is significantly different upped, you must use it in the deck.

So does that mean that if I want to replace 3 of Scorpio's Sapphire Towers with Earth Pendulums (for to use the Posideon), that's cool?
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.
