Because of what Essence said in the OP, "This season's Core Four event," I'm betting that if this one goes well then another CF event will be hosted with a different four elements.

Actually I think the point is that you use the four basic elements. As in ancient civilizations that believed everything was made up of one of four elements(earth, air, water, and fire)
