I lost to Bojengles 2-1.

Here is the deck I used:

Match 1: I was able to get poison on him and stall the entire match.  I killed every dragon he played as soon as they were played with lightnings.

Match 2 and 3: His early devourers were able to prevent me from getting enough poison counters on him to make any difference. His dragons still got killed, but their one turn of 10 initial damage was enough to make the difference.  Match 3 in particular was really bad for me.  He took my 1 death quanta/per every turn for about the first 10 turns haha.

we desynced a bunch and gl1tch claims every desync was a win
he prolly would have won the first desync, got good CC over me,
2nd game we desynced at about 18-15 card mark for me, i quit after cpu took over, had a 17/11 forest spirit with 4 poison counter. called it a draw
3rd game, i won a little lag but we didnt desync
4th game. desync, we both have screenys showing win.
5th game. i won.

so 2-1....

when you desync you draw diffrently. so the order of draw was not the same as mine.

Pretty sure that's not true. In fact, I just tested it by desyncing against myself, and the AI's drew the same cards in the same order.

Pretty sure that's not true. In fact, I just tested it by desyncing against myself, and the AI's drew the same cards in the same order.

iv heard from vets *in chat and stuff when i was a newb arguing about desyncs*
and they said that when you desync, you draw diffrently.
also in game two he had a protected thorn sheild and 7 devoureres, on turn 6. it was an early desync.

The fact that being in control causes lag, meaning the better I was doing the laggier you were, and the fact that the AI can't play my deck correctly and yours is a rush might anger me profusely, but a wins a win.

Guys, there's no point in arguing about this now. I can see both sides of the story, and perhaps i agree with one more than the other. Either way, i'm glad you took the high road, Gl1tch, and i'm sure the next time this event rolls around when we actually have a fully participating team, we'll be doing much better. No worries

Ya, thanks Glitch for just letting this go. I've already had a headache from the Essence/Xinef thing. And this competition is still more of a test than anything else, I wouldn't say winning will be all that much to brag about.
