Title: How to build a deck image using only deck import code (no screenshots needed)

The original deck image builder was created and integrated by PlanPlan. The latest version was created and integrated by antiaverage. The images in this thread were updated and formatted by Chapuz.

How to build a deck image using only deck import code (no screenshots needed)

1. Click in the Import/Export button, which is right at the left of your deck. You will notice a code appears. Select that code and copy it.
Note: Each 3-digit code represents a card of your deck, with the last one being the code of your mark.

2. When writing your post, look for this icon: (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/Themes/default/images/bbc/deck.gif) and press it. You will see a pair of "deck" brackets appears.

3. Paste your deck code between the brackets and then click Post

4. Look at the deck image appear out of nowhere with the deck import code below it.

Is there anyway we can a section on the forums/wiki where we can 'preview' decks from other peoples code?  Maybe a tab up at the top with "Deck Preview"

A lot of people either ask for your deck or want you to look at their deck.  Is there any way we could do that without posting a new thread (or acting like you are posting)?

I personally don't see a huge demand for this kind of thing, but if someone makes us the Card Code Builder, it could be easily made so that it works the other way around as well.

I have a solution for that, actually. Just embed Planplan's app in the 'Resources' section of the forums.

Planplan still has the builder up at his own place as well. I don't know how well his host copes with the pressure of this community though... Having a standalone version either on the forum or the wiki could be good.

I didn't know there was a standalone hosted somewhere (or at least i didn't know where to get it).  That helps a lot.  Thanks.

If you have all those cards and import the code correctly, it will work. You must have done something wrong.

You should only copy the code bit. Click on the [Select] thingy, copy the selected text and paste it in the import/export thingy. That'll take care of the cards (assuming you have them); the mark you'll have to change manually.

Here's a little one on how to link ur deck in the chat!

Two things first.
1. to enter chat u can go to http://elementsthegame.com and click the big brown "open chat in new window"
2. To see the pictures, just click them ;)

First of all, u need to go to the "your deck" pane in mane menu of the game.

Then u click the import/export button

Copy the text

From hereon u need to enter the chat (but im assuming ur already there) Once in the chat, click the dropdown menu wich is shown in the image below

Then click "Elements Deck Image Creator"
Clicking that will take you  here  (http://helltgivre.free.fr/elements/).
and it should look like this:

When it looks like that, u copy ur code in, choose the mark, and click submit.

Now copy the code that u are given, like shown below:

I now have a folder on my desktop with all my saved decks. I just C/P them. This makes everything so much easier when you have 100's of card to go through and forgot "how the hell did that deck go??"

idk why but now there is always a large grey empty area where this was not there before :/ maybe somthing to do with how the code is input

I created a word document on my desktop to save any good decks I come across and have easy access to the 3 I tend to use right now. Awesome idea to add this to the forums. Glad I stumbled across this thread as I was wondering how to do this.

It's on the left of where you see your deck (if you can't see it it's probably because you are editing/making an arena deck, which instead says submit)

This thread needs an update. Currently, the deck image creator recognizes the mark code and does not require mark=insertmarknamehere.

Hello everybody!

Not sure if anyone is still reading this thread.

I`v got a question: is there some kind of list where I can see which card corresponds with which deck import code? Some oracle counter decks for example show only the code and I do not own all cards in the game. I might consider buying some of the missing ones for a good false god counter. That's why I'm asking.

It would be great if somebody knew the answer and posted it here.

If I stupidly overlooked an other topic covering this point please excuse me. I used the forum search and didn't find anything promising (to my eyes).

Looking at each card code individually would be a pain. Use the trainer (http://www.elementsthegame.com/trainer) and import the deck in there or use Xenocidius's tool (http://elementscommunity.org/tools/deck/)
