I have collected a few sweated coins finally, and I have decided to try all the three most famous SEMIUNUPPED FG farmers:
Firecell http://elementscommunity.org/forum/rainbow-decks/firecell-fg-otk-(unupped)-(rareless)/ variant used: Aflatoxins, Hourglasses and Pendulums Upped, + 1 Miracle[/color]
RoL/Hope http://elementscommunity.org/forum/duo-decks/my-rolhope-%28mostly%29-unupped/ variant used: 1 Dragon and 1 Lobotomizer Upped, - 1 Lobotomizer (only 2)Limitless Speed http://elementsthegame.wikia.com/wiki/Limitless_Speed variant used: 3 Hourglasses UppedI have played most of the time with Firecell, after I moved to RoL/Hope, but, unsatisfied after a while, I decided to try also Limitless Speed, general impressions (note that are really impressions, as I haven't kept track of statistics and results):
Firecell is very cheap and potentially works unupped and rareless (even if I consider it semi unupped as upping the hourglasses is quite important), the strategy is very simple (and after a while boring imho), most of the times the combo requires only 4 cards (vulture, fractal, RoF, skyblitz) and 15/18
10
7
9
, and it's very efficient with at least 10/13 FGs, the only risk is a bad drawn with the shields, or (minor problem) with afla and HGs, sometimes lack of mana (mainly
and
)
RoL/Hope is (relatively) fast when getting a good drawn, the strategy requires a little more of attention compared to Firecell, depending on the FG (and it's also important to know each FG, as the strategy may have to be adapted, ex. min number of RoLs to keep on the field)...this makes it less boring, but (probably because of my lack of experience with FGs) also less efficient than Firecell, as, despite of a list of 10/15 easy/playable FGs, my results have been not so good: I don't have statistics and I played with Firecell much longer, but the impression I have is that it's easier to farm with Firecell (note: I'm saying easier, not more efficient)
Limitless Speed is the one that has deluded me the most: the slim (partially) unupped version is almost as slow as Firecell, and it's more sensitive to bad drawns, poison and, most annoying of all, clogged hand! Probably I have been unlucky, but more than a few times I had got the combo in my hand too early (not enough quanta), or I have been with 7/8 of combo without shields left, scared to use the Hourglass trying to get the other shield..
of course the fact that I've used Firecell much more makes its results more believable, while with the other two I may have just been unlucky/inexperienced, but that said:
1 - Is it possible that the links I refer to are old and with the latest version of the game this decks (especially LS and RoL/H) have to be fixed a little bit?
2 - Which one is worth to upgrade to substantially increase the EC/h?
sorry for the long post..
