Now that the ol' dagger is getting pumped up I just had to do it

Let's do a little math, shall we?
Dagger + phrine + eclipse = 17 damage/heal for 3 life, 6 darkness, and 1 of whatever. Then every one after the first eclipse costs only 2 darkness, 3 life, and a random one. Seems pretty awesome to me. Not to mention the fact that it shreds through bone walls

Why bother making flying vampire stilletos when you can just use vampires? Then you can throw in horned toads, steals, and a drain life or two.

edit: in place of the animate weapons.

Vampires cost more, deal less damage, and aren't as fun.

I just gotta say, awesome deck idea.  I have been having a blast with it in the trainer against T50.

Here is a variation I have been using.

Added a couple of unstoppable's to get you past the phase shield.  It reduces damage from 17 to 12 (when eclipse is out), but that is often better than waiting for the phase shield to go away.  Also, you can use it to get the dagger out of oty range in the event you have not been able to draw an eclipse yet.  With this build, the Epi's do come out slower, but I have found that you can afford to be patient.

I guess it does make it a Rainbow rather than Dual/Trio...

vampire + epinephrine + eclipse: 9  :darkness and 3  :life for 12 damage and healing
vampire stiletto dagger + epinephrine + eclipse + animate weapon: 6  :darkness, 3  :life, 1 random quanta for the same damage and healing

2 more quanta, 1 less card, and you get to use steals, way more fun.

also, how did you get 17 damage? 6 gives you 12, you can't double up on eclipse as far as I know

Not with the new Vamp Dagger in the trainer... its 17 damage, not 12.

found out why, for some reason in the trainer vampire dagger does 6 not 4. According to the wiki it's 4

The inference is that it will be enhanced in v1.21 to have 6 damage.   Just like Eternity will cost 5 instead of 4, and improved steal will cost 3 instead of 2.  Clearly there is much rebalancing in the works.

I'd probably take out a dagger for another dark tower or eclipse. I know it's usual to have x weapons and x-1 animates, but since the point is to get it adrenaline'd and eclipse'd, you don't really care that much about leaving one in the weapon slot.

It's similar to a deck I posted (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,3122.msg30668#msg30668) which used druidic staffs with unstoppable for damage/heal. With the buff to dagger, yours is probably better (mine was never that great to begin with). Pretty fun deck type, in any case.

Lol, Vampire Daggers are back in business, aren't they?

And they're quite cheap to cast. You have too many towers in your original deck. I'd take out 2 Obsidian Towers for two of the following: Dusk Mantle, Steal, Drain Life. All are relatively cheap cards that can help you in a cinch.

Otherwise, quite a fun deck. Love it. :D
