After realizing that poisoned creatures add their poison counters to the opponent when thrown, I have created this deck.

Simple; take out Bloodsuckers first, poison the dolls next, then throw the dolls for double poison!

Bloodsuckers themselves also serve as major creature control and viable attackers especially with Eclipse.

Usually it takes 3~4 turns to ready a rotten doll to be thrown, so the Trebuchets can be run solely from mark.


Problem : fails hard against quanta drainers.

Seems like over production of quantum imo. Maybe switch bone pillars to pends, the fast those trebuchets get out the better. Also 4 seems like overkill, could you get away with 2 and add vamp daggers to stall? Also this hit me, perhaps add gravity pull for more stalling and to deal a final blow from the opponent. It's always fun to watch the opponent kill himself .

Quanta overproduction in the long run, but towers guarantee that you can take out bloodsuckers and dolls as early as possible and poison stuff.

Also it's pointless to take out trebuchets early.

I can only say that I have a lot to learn about deck design.  Funny yet effective.

Doll already does "double poison" through the voodoo effect and the poison on itself, but at cost to the damage it will eventually deal with the throw.

Thus, you want to stack as much poison as possible, as fast as possible, on one doll, and throw it just before it dies.

I had a comment typed up, but then I decided not to post it because it's kind of pointless. It went something like...

Two Death Pendulums is kind of weird. It's not enough to get one reliably, not enough to really be worth it. Problem is, by the time you have a significant number of Pendulums, you've got more than you need.

Way better than the deck I was attempting. I would replace the towers with death and grav pends because you need darkness more than anything. Nice concept though

Agree with the need of darkness quanta, usually there is a lot of unused death and gravity quanta, and early game, a litlle more dark quanta would be really usefull to speed things. Also I prefer only 3 Trebuchets, because you only need one midlegame, having 4 of them means you draw one early when you can't use it.
