Actually, you could be on to something there. But you're correct, the main reason I lose is either not having the cards or the quanta I need, and any deck with CC, shields, or lobotomizer will destroy this deck.

Perhaps one could modify this for arena use by taking out a few SoB for a few SoFo?

The version I use. Generally has a more successful starting hand, and i was wondering if there was a way to use dragons instead of GotP's?

Check in the bazaar. All the "New" cards are available there. Make sure to give yourself lots of  first, and don't forget to click the "complete all quests" button so that you can upgrade your newly acquired shards

Running this against AI4, the draws are almost always perfect.  Burning several hundred electrum against false gods, I can only believe that they can affect my draws.  :p  I have had multiple games where I never drew a nova; my last game had 0 Novas, 0 GotPs, but all the Mitosises in the opening hand.  This deck isn't that vulnerable to bad draws, but the only time it didn't, the enemy had a stack of counters (like 3 Rewinds).

I think you meant the exact opposite of what this sentence said?
I too have noticed that this deck is extremely susceptible to awful, awful draws. When it's on, it's on. But when it's not utterly perfect, it's a total flop.

It's painfully typical to go 2 or 3 games in a row without having an easy, 3-card combo in the top 15 cards of the deck.  It's presumably just the effect of noticing when it happens, but if you play a night with Instaghost, you'll see it happen several times, and you really notice it, especially when the previous pair had one or two quantum sources in the top 10-15 cards.

The RNG is a harsh deity, even if you are profiting all the while.

[edit] I take back anything negative I said about the combo.  My Splat just pulled one scorpion in the top 18 cards.  If the two-card combo isn't working...
Followed immediately by no quantum sources in the top 12 cards.

i agree.... less shards that sometimes use needed quanta. i like precogs better myself
