Its war legel(when unupped) and it kicks a decent amount of rushes in the face, it has won for me in the past in around 10 turns

Photons cause i was too lazy to click blight lol, and unupped steamies cost 4  , as opposed to the 5 of upped

For the extra 1 quantum you get an extra 9 hp to take more of a beating, maybe decreasing it to 3 steamies might make it more cost efficient.

The four-Steam version would probably be more stable, even if they have about the same total HP across all the Steams. Three-Steam version saves you exactly 1 Quanta total (3 x 5 quanta, 4 x 4 quanta).

Using Fire Shield (CC based on creatures attacking you) seems inconsistent with using Squids (CC based on creatures not attacking you). Change Photons to Ball Lightnings for damage potential or Gnome Gemfinders for Fire Shield and Pest resistance.

Why not using birmstone eaters they can give you extra quanta.
Or as Toge said using gemfinders and maybe 1 protect artifact to protect fire shield from being destroyed or stolen.
