Met the absolute counter of this deck = Titanium Shield + Protect Artifact, twice in a row in Ai4... Totally shuts down the damselflies and the 150 hp prevents UG from turning the tide.

Well, you can't beat everything xP but i admit shields can be bothering since you need more UG to win (if they're played early). if you want you can change 2-3 SoB for SoFr to increase early Damsel Damage. Besides, the deck wasnt designed for Ai 4. There the Ai has more time to set up his game. Also you have to play UG later because danmsel have to do more damage. Personally I'd play it in PVP and maybe bronze :)

SoFr have potential here, esp. with adrenaline.
Try it!
PVE shouldn't be all about copying a deck code and converting time into electrum, score, and potentially rares.
If the only way to derive fun from a game is its PVP content, then non-hardcore players a.k.a. the mass are alienated from the hardcore community.

I did but I'm not sure how many of which shard to use...
Here's the version I used:

Spoiler for Hidden:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
6s3 6s3 6s3 6s3 6s6 6s6 6s6 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7an 7an 7an 7an 7mt 7mt 7mt 7mt 7mt 7mt 7n6 7n6 7n6 7n6 7n6 7n6 8po

Versions where there are only SoFr might work, too. But I haven't tried them yet.
Maybe someone can find a good optimum for this? That'd be nice and I would add it to the OP :)

Alright, necro, but I feel that this is too cool of a deck to let it fade into the oblivion of forum history.

Last night, I won an upped Unstable Gas from Octane (my first, surprisingly) and that set me into trying to find a decent way to use it. After a bunch of testing, I came up with a deck that was, quite literally, almost the exact same as the one in OP (even the card amounts) and I had a ton of fun playing it. I had planned on posting it on the forums last night, but a search showed me this deck, so I refrained.

The only change between mine and this one is that mine isn't full upped (didn't have the money), and I have -1 Tower, +1 Long Sword. Apart from necroing this, I wanted to point out that the Long Sword is a great addition to this deck, and helps out in a few different (not altogether rare) occasions.

The best example is one where your opponent has 42-46 hp (or 62-66 hp), and you have only 2 (or 3) UG's to blow up. Blowing them up this turn kills your Damsels, and forces you to wait for another UG/Damsel to finish him off, OR forces you to attack that turn and blow them up the next turn. Long Sword lets you explode the Gases and still finish the opponent off in those situations. I had a game where my enemy stole my UG on his turn, resulting in a loss, and another game where my opponent played a Mirror Shield, resulting in a loss. A Long Sword would have (and, since it's addition, has) saved those losses.

Someone had posted (basically) a copy of this last night, and requested its deletion because I pointed out it was a repost, else I honestly wouldn't be necroing this.

Anyway, really cool deck, with very frequent 5-6 TTW, and an occasional 4 TTW. And, it seems to leave opponents in PvP2 stumped right up until you play your first UG, then you get a message along the lines of "oh...". :D

Sounds reasonable. Great thanks for the suggestion!
Since you tested it, how would you order these weapons fitting the deck: Owl's Eye/Jade Staff/Long Sword? In my opinion owls eye is nice if you have it early as it serves good CC. Similarly, Jade Staff improves your survivability while dealing small damage. But both might drain important quanta, especially Owl's eye. So long sword has advantage over them by being cheap and dealing decent damage.

Playing entirely off of theory at this point, since I didn't try EE/Jade Staff. Unless you're swimming in quanta (which I personally am not, at least not often) EE is too expensive to play, it'll hit the field late, and conflict with UG for Air quanta. Using its ability only exacerbates that issue. Jade staff is cheaper (than EE), but does less damage than Long Sword, and I've not had very many games where the additional 5 HP/turn would have been a deciding factor. And, since its damage is lower, it wouldn't be quite as useful as Long Sword in the listed situations.

But ultimately, I suppose its a playstyle choice. A bit of CC or healing, or a strong, cheaper weapon which will rarely conflict with your other quanta sources?

Updatet it for 1.32. Not much of a difference and I haven't tested it much yet but it still seems to work as well as ever.
Hope you all still like it :)

@Belligrence:
I used your suggestion in the new deck. It really is a great addition, thank again!

Bump. Added a fatter version which works quite well against hb.
Didn't find the perfect balance yet, so there might be mod's which are more efficient for hb.
But yeah, just to give an idea :)

Unfortunately, it is dead again. I offer to change! This deck is too good to fade into history. Bring on your mods, people!
Basically afk.
