I really like this deck. Mono aether, mono death, mono life and mono fire normally don't stand a chance against this fast heal-stall (?). Big problem is mono darkness with its devourers because this deck is quite low on quanta.
Pros in comparison to mono air: You can rebuild your army after a rain of fire. Single lightnings and fire bolts will be used against your elite queens who don't care about such small damage. (Even if you don't have enough SoFr out to evade the damage)
Why I use certain card over others:
- Shard of Gratitude over Empathic Bonds: There are several reasons for that. First they are cheaper. And with the little amount of life quanta that deck produces that is the most crucial point. Second you can stall just perfectly with an owls eye, some gratitude and not a single creature on your field. Third they don't fail on you if you have quanta problems at the beginning.
- Fire Lance over Shockwave: You are tight enough on air quanta without some additional spells consuming your quanta. Further, in Bronze 3 damage is enough to kill most nasty hitters. And last, if you drew only one shard of freedom against mono aether, then it can help you to finish him off quicker one or two turns at the end.
- Shard of Freedom over Explosions: In addition of overcoming nasty dim shields, shard of freedoms protect your lovely army from some damage, even if you don't have space for six of these shards.
- Elite queens over Firefly Queens+Hope: I am in bronze, I don't want to stall the opponent forever, I want to win in an acceptable time.
I have to rework the quanta balance of this deck for a silver test, and probably add some more gratitude shards. (Any suggestions what else could/should be changed for playing in silver would be appreciated)
