Epi/SoW Vú (Upped Life/Time/Aether rush for PvP) https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=54516.msg1136078#msg1136078
« on: May 12, 2014, 02:52:02 pm »
I've tried to find this deck but I can't, so I apologize if it's already posted.
This deck is extremely fast, and I've managed to get constant 6-10 turn victories with it on level 3. It's designed for PvP.
Each Deja Vú deals 12 damage, and can be cloned as early as turn 3 to deal 24. (That's 36 damage optimum by turn 3, Which makes this deck easily kill within three turns once it gets going.)

Optimum hand:
Elite Deja Vú
Aether Tower
Aether Tower
Emerald Tower
Emerald Tower
Epinephrine
SoW
(Draw Quintessence)

Turn by turn guide (Optimum):
Turn #1: Play all your pillars. (Optimum damage: 0, 0 per turn. 4 Life 4 Aether 1 Time)
Turn #2: Play Deja Vú. If you can, add Epinephrine and Quintessence. (Optimum damage: 12, 12 per turn. 3-3-1)
Turn #3: Add SoW and copy your Deja Vú. (Optimum damage: 36, 24 per turn. 5-3-1)
Turn #4: Play more Deja Vús, Laughing. (Optimum damage: 60, 24 per turn. 7-5-1/2)
Turn #5: Play more Deja Vús, Laughing. (Optimum damage: 84, 24 per turn. 9-7-1/3)
Turn #6: Play more Deja Vús, Laughing. (Optimum damage: 98, 24 per turn. Additional Vús deal the extra 2 damage. 11-9/1/3)

This deck is strong against anything that doesn't miracle (In six turns? :/) or have reflective shields.
This deck dies to delayed reflective shield, but if the shield is played early enough, you can just not use Quint and .

The problem with this deck is it's unreliable. The following variant is easier to pull out, but also a lot easier to counter, and you don't get the swush effect of SoW. I like the swush effect of SoW.
Spoiler for No Quint:

Either deck just needs one of every card to work.

..With an optimum hand, could this deck grind FGs? 6 turns to shave 100 HP, so about 9-10 to shave 200?

Nice combo you got there! Epi-vu is a common rush, though I don't think there's been a SoW version before.

But on the topic of FGs, nope, you can't really hope to rush FGs. Their X3 mark and double draw means that FGs generally take 5-7 turns to win against a defenseless deck (of course this is for rushier FGs (some such as Decay, Fire Queen, Lionheart or Osiris take a good while to set up, but decay would own you and getting a good win percentage against 3 out of 29 isn't recommended for farming.)
When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die. There is no middle ground.

Upon thurther useage, I've noticed that this deck is somewhat unreliable- I'm never drawing emerald towers, I'm never drawing 1 card of something I really need.

...The Quints are only there to bypass shields. Should I just drop them to have 6 SoWs/Epis and more towers?

I'd use mommentum to bypass shields. But that's the easiest solution in Epivu decks. SoW is an original addition.

Yeah, I can see why you'd use momentum.

I'll just add a No-Quint version to the thread; a lot more reliable, but I miss the swushy noise ;-;

The quanta build is quite slow, and you need a good pillar draw to play relatively fast. Also, those quints make the deck slower and without defense it's not a good idea.

Here I give you 3 links of good Deja Vu rushes, maybe they will give you a couple of ideas.

Since all the deja-vu thingies are in here, and since I did some stats I'll join with yet a slightly different version:

100 matches in Gold, decks with 1 hitpoint not counted

Win - 44
Loss - 56

Turn-to-win - 6.65 aka 7

EMs - 3

and 5 special spins
