I feel like I've seen this deck elsewhere but I couldn't find it.

Pretty straight forward: denial from the devourers and the trident, creature control from the wardens (and octopus). two steals to get a pair of attacks through if shields are a problem, patience to make sure those attacks are each huge. often you'll roll people more easily than that... a few turns growth, a bit of control, some denial preventing much resistance...boom.

note that the pests burrow and then double the shard of patience growth bonus upon unburrowing. it's worth burrowing them whenever you can as long as you will grow that turn.
the only chance this deck has against SoP/fractal/ball-lightning, my current nemesis, is early pests stealing the  :water quanta, it's typically run exclusively off :water mark, then he can't play the SoP.

finally, a deck that can use trident to its full potential! i would actually advise you to run up to 2 of them so you can get hold of one most of the games, swap it for the squid, you already have decent CC using the wardens

Before 1.32 I made this version but since the update it needed to be updated. I'll have a look at your version but a priori it looks quite good. Here is what I made on the same basis:

that nymphs tears can be very helpful by creating a black nymph... you can LS your pests to gain some health, wich is something i think was lacking on the deck

As PA said, the NT can be use either to create a dark (and use LS for some healing or killing of airborne stuff) or a water nymph (to spam more).

I also added a trident to have it earlier and switch the quanta sources to be sure you always have earth (most needed for warden, devourers and trident) from the beginning on. This way even if you lack water or darkness you can start your denial.

As I have 6 warden in there the use of the squid becomes a bit redundant.

I hope Mammalman, I didn't denaturate your idea ... but I believe it is now able to go in some platinum fights

P.S. and edit: For those looking for the duo earth/water have a look here

When I saw the patch notes for 1.32 I tried to build a deck to take advantage of the synergy between pest and SoP.  Mine was a rainbow using novas to make use of card draw from precogs, sundials, and SoB.  I also just used 1 Liquid Shadow instead of Nymph's Tears.

It was a lot of fun to play, but it only worked out ok.  Just from eyeballing it, SnoWeb's looks much stronger.  Looking forward to trying it out after I get some more electrum.
