I think SoGs are a total waste of space in this deck.
If the deck works, your healing will be through the roof ... no comparison at all to the classic healing methods such as SoGs, FB and Miracle.
Moreover, SoGs might steal your badly needed water-quants in the early game. -1 water quant = one more turn of having no nymph out unless you draw like 3 novas.

On the plus-side, SoGs are way up in the priority list for explosions ... adding them just for purposes of sacrifice vs. Hermes, Graviton, ChaosLord and Rainbow might be an idea.

I just won a nymph queen. Is nymph queen a good addition to this deck? I would also like to know how this deck would work unupped.

Will this work unupped?

Starting from an unupped version, which cards would be considered critical and should be upgradded first?
I played a few rounds against AI 3 with an unupped version of rainingblood's deck. One thing I learned pretty quickly is that you're not going to get very far without at least a few upgrades. Here's where I would start:

Pulverizer - Useless unupped as you won't have enough quanta to use its ability.

Supernova - The deck won't work without these, as they're your only source of  :aether  for Quintessence. 6 Novas gives 6 :aether, which is only enough for one Quint. (2 if upgraded Quint) Using 6 Supernovas gives 12 :aether, allowing you to play 3 unupped Quints or all 4 upped Quints. I was, however, able to beat Destiny with just 3xSupernova and an upgraded Pulverizer, though I very nearly decked out due to the lack of quanta.

Quintessence - See above. You can't play them all if you don't upgrade them all.

Nymph's Tears would be next on my list, followed by the Obsidian Pillars, but I expect the deck would be functional by this point. More testing needs to be done, however.

its too short of a deck to be used effectivly against the fgs, it may be good against the hbs

What? You think 30 card decks can't take on FGs? I, for one, know of 30 card decks that give you greater electrum gain (considering the value of spin wins) when taking on FGs than Half-bloods.

there are no way of returning cards to your deck in this deck. fgs are known for their abilities to do alot of damage in short amounts of time

If FGs are dealing a lot of damage then you die before you deck out. So what's the problem with 30 card decks?

I tried some games with that deck and I IIRC only lost once against Paradox because of Miracles (and decking out). Of course sometimes it's a close run - I won sometimes with 0 cards left.

Nevertheless, Miracles isn't such a big problem as you might think, as the FG creatures deals most of the damage - and that damage doesn't count when AI decides if to use miracle. Of cours you need to be a bit lucky against gods like Rainbow, Miracle or Paradox.

And I don't think it would work as good against HBs as against FG as your opponent should have some damage dealers to antimatter - decking out would be a real problem there. And there are way better decks against HBs.

As Morte didn't have any statistics yet: i won 3 of 4 games against him, seems to be beatable, too.
And I beat FQ once, thanks to Pulverizer in the starting hand.

Excellent! We are talking about damage here, that will soon be used against them.  ;)

My most annoying losses actually came from bad draws on the FGs side:

Not seeing a single Bonedragon or Archangel until the late game against Morte can really spoil things. Likewise, you will beg for Seisms and Obliterators Stonedrags instead of those pesky Shriekers, hope for awesome "Bless and PU"-action against Paradox and welcome Hermes' Rubydrags warmly.

In a way you could say, that as long as your draw is acceptable, the better the god does the better do you.

Would Mirror Shield work with the new Pulverizer and Mark of Water build?

It costs only 2 :light, so it can be played after just 1 Supernova. It prevents death by spells (Fire Lance, Ice Lance, etc.), can't be destroyed or stolen, AND it reduces the damage taken by 1. It seems to be useful for early-game defense, and it takes some bite out of the weenie swarm strategies.

Great deck, by the way; I'll be trying to build it with as I accumulate winnings from farming FGs using the Vreely variant of ivalmian's Rainbow. :)

Does anyone have an opinion on this deck vs a rainbow farm for new players without many upgrades?

Would it be better to build the SG unupgraded deck or go for the Nymph deck?

That is indeed the question I am asking myself Clathius.

Overall, I find that this deck is at least as "efficient" as a classic deck.

However, it sure is a very capitalistic and luck-based way of farming:
Upped Ameth-Towers or Nymph-Tears aren't exactly very useful for anything else, fun PVP for example.
Moreover, you will have to have enough coins to afford a series of bad draws and stupid matchups against Glory or Scorpio, so spending some 300 coins on 10 lost/quit matches in a row within 5min does happen just to get in 3 straight wins after that, which however don't give you a card for some reason.
If you dont get too unlucky with the matchups and draws your masteries will easily balance out the costs for playing the matches after all but you might not make a real profit.
Compared to that the classic deck will be much slower but more or less guarantee you a steady income of coins even if you dont win cards.
