I'm not finding this deck to be very good.  Tried several different versions of it, but nothing seemed to work well.  Played 50 games on the trainer and won less than 25% of the games.  Most of the games I lost before getting anything on the board or carded out.  I would love to find a good alternative to the standard rainbow, but this does not seem to be it.

As the guys said above me.  I tried a few different versions...It's a nice change of pace vs the standard Rainbow.  But it's unfortunately not any better.  Probably worse.  The standard upgraded rainbow can beat most any FGs, and the easy ones almost every time.  This deck you have to skip a lot of Gods.  The problem i've noticed is that you have no defense until you get your antimatter.  Which requires, against most gods, 3things to happen. 7water 1am tower and a quint which means you need aether tower up for awhile.  by the time you got that out you've definiately taking some dmg...but will one anitmatter be enough to stave off the next few rounds while you build up more nymphs?
This deck is great against FGs it can beat, and works really well if you get good draws.  It is definiately, again unfortunately, not better then the standard rainbow against FGs.

i've played a few dozens of games, and honestly i don't find this deck very efficient. i'm using a slightly modified version, without quanta towers.
first of all, there are many FGs against which it's completely impossible to win, and unsurprisingly they seem to come out most often for me.
second, i find the win/lose ratios in the OP quite unbelievable. i've happened to lose three times against miracle for not being able to drop a purpel nymph soon enough, and same happened with other allegedly easy FGs.
it's a good deck, but it's not so fail-proof against any FG, and it's not as fast as many claim it to be.
the luck component (with draw, mana combinations, etc.) is too relevant to make it a "great" deck.
as for now, i still find rainbow superior. unfortunately i sold mine to make this nymph deck, cause i was bored of rainbow, so i'll stick with this one for a while...

edit: just to add that at the moment i'm 0 wins 3 losses against both obliterator and miracle, which are supposed to be the easiest ones.

I tried this deck in the trainer, went 1-25 against FG's.  Even the games I had well under control, I decked out and lost.  I play a standard rainbow deck (90% upgraded) and win about 40% of the time.  I have even beaten rainbow a few times.  This deck was fun to play for sure, but not a viable alternative.

after some more playing and tweaking (i added an electrocuter, put back in 3 quanta towers, added 3 sundials, and took off the aether towers), i've found some mistakes in the descriptions of the false-gods. maybe someone pointed them out already in the rest of the thread, but i cba to go back and read all of the six pages.

Destiny: 5 elemental masteries + 4 wins/1 loss (easy)
- Very slow in building up his forces - buy's you a lot of time to bring out a nymph.
- No creature control besides reverse time and eternity - make's quintessence less important.
- Fallen druids might mess with the debuffed creatures.
fallen druids mess A LOT with debuffed creatures.
and quintessence is CRUCIAL, cause maxwell demons can use paradox on your purple nymph. this is probably one of the FGs against which quint is absolutely necessary.

Quote
Paradox: 2 elemental masteries + 5 wins/3 losses (easy)
- Doesn't play miracle since debuff damage is not taken into account.
- Very fast and small creatures (deja-vu's and RoL) are sometimes hard to control.
- If possible you want to avoid debuffing his strongest creature - wait for twin universe, then debuff.
he does play miracle all the time.
and he rarely plays strong creatures. 9 times out of 10 he just spams deja-vu's and RoLs until the table is full. that way, you can't generate enough self-inflicted damage, and eventually you'll deck out.

Quote
Gemini: 6 elemental masteries + 2 wins/2 losses (easy)
- No creature control - quintessence is unnecessary.
he plays electrocuter at first turn almost every other game. if that's no creature control, i don't know what is...

more testing done...

Obliterator: 10 elemental masteries/0 losses (easy)
- Lots of big creatures for anti-matter/liquid shadow.
i wonder if Obliterator has ever played a Pulverizer against you...

Wow, I just took a break for a while, have been gone since 1.14 and the new cards are amazing! I finally said goodbye to my old aether deck and scraped together 8000 or so coins. After much testing here's the deck I built:

Mark of Water

4 Quantum pillars
8 Amethyst pillars
2 Obsidian pillars
4 Supernovas
4 Nymph's tears
4 Quintessence
2 Antimatters
1 Fallen Druid
1 Morning Glory

I'll probably change out the quantum pillars when I get 2 more supernovas. Novas just weren't worth it. Druid might go, too. Not really sure what to add though. Probably permanent control, though I don't have a pulveriser. Steal at 4 seems too much, a couple destructions perhaps?

So after testing on halfbloods, I finalise on this and go to meet... Morte! And am now 1/1 after a long and gruelling battle thanks to his almost complete lack of large creatures. I don't care if I lose more often, it's much more fun than rainbow/aether. Thanks to rainingblood for starting this thread, making me saying goodbye to aether & rainbow on my 1000th win and getting stuck right into these awesome new cards.

I was experimenting with one of the versions of this deck. The :water Mark, no :water Tower, heavy :entropy Tower, Improved Antimatter version.

I tried adding a Butterfly Effect instead of a Pulverizer, since Pulverizer was nerfed and this deck has plenty of Entropy to spare after a few turns.  Didn't realize until I was fighting a False God that the Purple Nymph's attack too high to make a Destroyer out of it :(

Nerf Purple Nymph's attack power please :))

I really feel like the Pulverizer and Mirror Shield are must-haves in this deck.  If you draw one of them early, they both utterly trivialize gods that would otherwise be unbeatable, like Octane, FFQ and Ferox.

Can anybody still playing this as a generic anti-FG tell me about the performance against the 5 new FGs?

Decay kills it.  Osiris can be beaten if you get a lucky early Black nymph and LS his Pharaoahs before he goes Scarab crazy.  Neptune is easy.  Haven't played the others.

If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.
