Unstoppable takes care of both of those I would think.

Granted it's not always going to be in your hand when you need it, but you should still be able to wait for it after you see the first threat emerge.

yeah irritating shields was the main reason I explored this deck in the first place.  Flying staffs have good healing, but any shield greatly limits their offensive potential.
