What's the purpose of Plate Armor? Seems like a rather large deck, and it's a trio.

I tried it, and it seems that I'm usually getting too little :earth quantum and too much :aether quantum - I would suggest dropping the Fractal part and focusing more on the :earth / :time aspect of the deck or dropping the time part and making it a Fractal Gemfnder stall. Plate Armor is okay against CC w/Gemfinders, but I see little use for Stone Skin when you're dumping Earth quantum into all the other creatures.

Suggested Changes:
- Plate Armor
- Stone Skin
- Aether or - Time part of deck.

Try to narrow it down to 30 cards if possible.

Why 30? Yes it would run faster but not many trios are 30 card decks; if you got too much quanta take out some pillars/pends., that will help you not overproduce quanta and have less cards.
It is the greatest mystery of all...

Note:  Zblader mentioned dropping the aether part, so it would be a duo.
30 card decks often run faster, which is preferred for most parts of this game.

If you fractal the gemfinders then you will have a big earth supply which you can use to fuel stone skin/more fractals.

I have wanted a second deck to play around with since I upgraded my whole Devourer/Vampire/Fractal deck.

I gave this deck a try. I used 4 upgraded fractals and 6 upgraded Aether Towers (which had been in my old deck already). It was otherwise identical.

I did a level 1 game to warm up (won).
I lost my first level 2 game but won my second.
I did 10 games on AI3 and I went 3-7. Of the 3 victories, 1 was a pretty clear one and the other two were ones I barely won and could have lost. One loss came because of a stupid mistake of mine though and I might have been able to win that game.

I love the idea for this deck but it needs some tweaking.

I had horrible luck drawing cards in every game. I never got enough riders or stone pillars at the start (I would say I got one rider in my opening hand every other game). My opening hands had a lot of high cost monsters and Aether PIllars/Towers.

The biggest weakness of the deck is that there is really nothing to deal with permanents. The only thing you have are earthquakes for towers and pillars and that does not do a lot when the other player has three different clusters of two pillars.

There is a lot of promise in this deck and you could take it a lot of different ways.

I think that I would cut out the Aether and make it earth/time. I would add a shield to reduce damage.

If I kept the Aether, I would add a few Silences or Dimensional Shields to slow down the other player to give you time.

I would probably also figure out a way to make it easier to get the riders out there.

I'd like to see where you take this deck next.
