All FFQ decks I've played in the past have pretty much sucked. I wanted to do a more well-rounded version, and after some vigorous testing, this is what I came up with. It is pretty well-rounded and seems to do quite well in different situations.

I am open to suggestions.

I REALLY like this. Aside from the two types of Pillars, it's really good (you really only need one or two Emerald Towers for it to work, but more is always good). A single Feral Bond will be stolen quickly, which means that you might have to waste an explosion on it, unless you save it for late game to get a one turn HP boost with a full-ish field. These problems can't really be avoided in a trio-deck, so all that aside, I think this would do pretty damn well in PvP.

You need green quantum to produce Fireflies so one or two Towers is not enough. I would much rather have 7-8 Emerald Towers but there is no room for them.

You are right about the Feral Bond, it gets easily stolen or destroyed, but then again it's damn good against some decks like poison. At first I had 2 of them but then I replaced one with a shield. I really like the Life shield and I might take 2 of them, drop that last Feral Bond, and go without healing.

Though this decks looks pretty fearsome, and hard to beat, I actually don't get the thought behind you mark-choice. The main advantage of the mark over a regular pillar, is it's availability: It will produce Quanta from the very first turn on. The faster you get the FFQs out and working, the more damage you will do and (!) the more fire Quanta you will gain.
Once you get 2 or three FFQs producing fireflies for some turns, fire Quanta won't be a problem anymore. With this in mind, you may be better off using a mark of air.

Beside that, the deck looks great!

edit: Just thought about it again: Without the fire-mark, an early Otyugh, Ulitharid, or any other creature control could shut the deck down. Just scratch, what i wrote above. Great deck!

My original FFQ deck (before upgrades were an option)

Mark or air
Wind Pillar x10
Flying Weapon x2
Firefly Queen x5
Owl's Eye x3
Emerald Pillar x7
Empathic Bond x3

Granted, it didn't use the firefly quantums at all- it never needed them and trying to use them made the deck less effective. Of course this was back in the day when a flying Owl Eye almost guaranteed a win!

Nowadays, it would go down in flames against rainbow, but would still be effective against speed poison.
