Now to answer all your CC worries: The idea is to clog the opponents hand with RoL whilst you setup, then again after you are set up. They can't draw CC with a hand full of lights can they? In the case that you get the worst hand ever, cc may be a problem, yes. The deck does indeed seem like it lacks damage..but it doesn't. While the opponents field is full of lights doing no damage, your lights are building up damage with SoP. Steal obviously helps with pesky shields like fire buckler.
