I guess you always have too much gravity, usually it's enough to power it with your mark, but 1-2 pillars supporting your mark should be enough.

With quantum pillars you definitely do not need gravity pillars and mark of life.

Though I'm not sure how consistent it would be in terms of quanta generation... it might still take you a while to play your first fractal or to play a bond, but still a bond is not very useful before you play a single fractal so is more important than .
