Hello, new to the game and to the forums! I just made my first 1,500 coin using this deck, so I thought I would post it up since it's my best so far but I am always looking for improvement. I think the common point of elder decks is to try and finish the game with 100HP, which this deck rarely does, but I had a high win ratio with it so far. Lost maybe 6 matches out of all it took to reach 1,500 to up a card. I was going for a nice balance of control while being able to do damage and I think I accomplished that, but some help from vets to make it better would be appreciated. What do you guys think?

Well, you might want to turn that into an actual Rainbow. Otherwise you'd have lots of unused quanta from those novas.

I'm not very good at deckbuilding, but I'm sure jmdt's ideas can help you. Here (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,11831.24.html) it is an awesome EM rush rainbow... I've made an unupped version (different from that one), try it if you want:
Code: [Select]
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4vh 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 52q 55u 55u 590 5c2 5c2 5c2 5i5 5i5 5lf 5og 5og 5rr 5rr 5ut 61qNovas can sometimes be better unupped (altough Supernovas are awesome), and this deck relies more in unupped ones. I've made it from scratch in 10 seconds, so it can be better, but it can certainly defeat some elders

Thanks for the replies.

I'm not too concerned about using the extra quanta the Novas give me, I mostly just have them in there because I don't need much quanta for most of my cards, and they have the added benefit of giving me speed in the opening draw over Quantum pillars.

I do like the idea of putting some heals in though Krathos. I think ill take my weapon out and try and work in 3 Heals to see if I can finish at 100hp more often. Is that what I should be shooting for when running elders BTW? I just don't know how fun a mono life deck would be to play for that many games.

There are many ways of grinding, and AI3's have the wider variety of ways to grind (pretty sure I made a mistake somewhere in that sentence).
You can go for EM (end with 100hp), in which case you'll need heals (other decks use vampires). You can also go for speed grinding, in which case mono death is the fastest unupped (6 poison, 6 mummies, 4 bone dragons and 14 bone pillars, it's awesome), but it can be boring. Fun grinding can be slower, but my "fun" is in nova bows (I mean, every hand is different, and you can tweak the deck to have lots of useful combos)...

If you're afraid of getting bored, try looking for decks in the forum, the deck archive is huge :D
If you want EM grinding, the best should be something like 4 dragons, 6 cockactrices/frogs, 6 heals and 14 pillars (I haven't even made the image of the deck, but I can assure it'll at least have more than 90% against AI3)

Hey thanks che. I added in 3 Heals, and I already have close to 40% EM on my games so I think it's going well! I might try some of those decks you mentioned, the speed and vampire decks sound interesting.

I dunno much about vampire decks, since I am yet to see a grinding one, but I guess it's possible to make one (generally they work more than well with adrenaline and eclipse)

Well one type of EM deck could be mine well i have 2. you don't need the staffs they are extra

1
Code: [Select]
5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bu 5bu 5bu 5bu 5bu 5bu 5c0 5c0 5c0 5c0 5c0 5c0 5c5 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7

deck 2
Code: [Select]
5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bu 5bu 5bu 5bu 5bu 5bu 5c0 5c0 5c0 5c0 5c0 5c0 5c2 5c2 5c2 5c5 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7
so you know it is only 90 percent of winning and EM it might not want to use this strategy   :D.  or you might want to :D

I don't see how you're going to get EM wins with that deck. Elders deal much more than 5 damage the entire game.

it depends... when you get the creatures out and staff
still, without some sort of intense* healing (3 heals/staves spam/stalling), even a 3 ttw deck has a hard time to achieve EM.

*not the right word, but you get it...
