Entropy/Gravity deck https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=8887.msg104230#msg104230

So I decided to try out the obvious synergy between black hole and discord and came up with this:

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vk 4vk 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55v 55v 55v 55v 55v 55v 6u5 6u5 6u5 6u7 6u7 74b 74b 74c 74o 7n2 7n2 7n2 8pl

Obviously I'm not the first person to try this synergy before, please don't post saying "I thought of this first!".  The strategy is simple, get out a discord as fast as possible and start hitting them with black holes or the nymph.  The antimatters are in case of a light dragon or some such high hitter, the otyughs are for either creature control or to be butterflied.  Mutation is to handle enemy creatures with good effects (otyughs, firefly queens, etc.) and the titan is there for additional damage and to act as a shield for the nymph and other creatures.  The AI seems to want to throw everything it has at the flying titan, even though the chances of the titan dying are slim to none.

I've only just started testing it, its gone 3-1 against ai3 so far, all 3 wins were mastery.  I'm sure as I tweak it further it will become better.  The only real problem I'm having with it right now is lack of defense, I prettymuch have to rely on the healing of black holes/nymph to keep me alive.

I guess the next things to upgrade would be the black holes, thought I do find myself low on quantum alot; it might be a better idea to upgrade the pillars first.

Deck changes:
1.  Changed mark from entropy to gravity, +2x black hole
2.  +4x SoG
3.  -1x SoG, +1x Gravity pillar, Amethyst pillar, Discord, Animate Weapon
4.  -3x SoG, +1x Gravity pillar, +2x Amethyst pillar
5.  -2x Butterfly Effect, +1x Animate Weapon

Add 1 or 2 Discord/anim.Weapon and try to stay closer to Blackhole/Discord. A successful Discord in the start may delay your opponent for 2 or 3 turns with badluck even more. Playing a Blackhole after the quanta is shuffled wont allow your opponent to play much if at all anything. Therefor I think Oty´s arnet necessary, too the Shield and the SoG arent necesarry. Dont forget you can heal yourself with Blackholes if you are going to die or to get EM.

The low quanta is easy to explain. You are playing with a Shield absorbing quanta. Antimatter and ButterflyEffect arent cheap. Just 5 :gravity Pillar, but 48+  :gravity quanta cost. If you add more Pillars your deck becomes too big. So you need to take some cards out.

The deck looks anorexic quanta-wise and damage-wise. Also, this deck relies on an early discord to redistribute any quanta that's produced so that might explain your lack of defense. Perhaps you should take out some cards and throw in a few extra discords and animates. To increase the firepower, you could put in some chargers or amethyst dragons if you like.

Thanks for the advice, I only had the two discords in cuz I only had two, though I just won another from an ai3.  I guess ill farm some fgs and up that discord and another animate and put those in in place of 2 shards.

Ok by now I've fixed the quanta problems and my damage per turn has increased drastically with the addition of the extra discord and two animates.  Im thinking of switching the otyughs out for armagios, seeing as armagios are prettymuch living shields.  At 6 gravity quanta each (summon + ability) they aren't too expensive and would provide decent defense.  Next upgrades will be 1-3 more animate weapons and hopefully I can win another discord or two, if not I'll throw in another titan once I have those animates.  As always, I'm open to all suggestions.

Try to reduce to 30 cards and you will get Discord more frequently in the start hand.
I just calculate it for you:
with 3 Discords and 36 cards the chance to get at least one is: 48,8%
with 3 Discords and 30 cards  the chance to get at least one is:56,37%
with 4 Discords and 36 cards the chance to get at least one is:59,7%
with 4 Discords and 30 cards the chance to get at least one is:67,7%

But I wouldnt take 5 or more because you always need an Animated Weapon in addition. That means you take 2 card spaces for practically just 1 card. The important thing is the Discord in the start hand to slow your opponent down. Additional flying Discords are good for better shuffling and this will increase the effect of blackhole, but I dont think there is a difference beetween 4 and 6 discords. Too if your opponent destroys a flying discord he destroys 2 cards at once and thus "2 turns". Instead of Titan I would take Chargers.

I suggest to take Oty´s and Titan and the Mutations out. Try to take 1 Pillar for each 5 quanta you need.
