Solution to Malig Cells not Getting Drown Deck (maybe) https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=4543.msg45011#msg45011

So since the malig cells are no longer effected by inundation, this is what I came up with.
Its not as good as what I was originally hoping for, but it still works rather well.

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
52n 52n 710 710 710 714 714 714 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7do 7do 7ds 7ds 7ds 7ds 7ds 7ds 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gp 7h1 7h1 7h1 7jp 7jp 7jp 8pk

Inundations are the ? mark.

So basically this is what the strategy is. Stall using permafrost, use the RoLs for placeholders in the middle column, and also have the Condors there as well (obviously). Boneyard also helps out for filling up the middle using a RoF/Boneyard combo, just be sure you get the condors there first.

Now like i said, I havent gotten a chance to pull off the combo, but heres the theory behind the deck.

Once you have the middle row filled up, play your phoenixes so that they will die by inundation, turn to ash, power up your condors, get some skellys, and them the ash will die, along with the skellies, and the ash will give you more skellies that will be killed by the inundation. Not my original strategy, but it still works extremely well.

I'm pretty sure the ash will drown before you can resurrect them.

Please tell me you didn't go to the trainer, build the deck, and NOT test it before you posted it here....

EDIT: I just went to the trainer myself and... none of the new cards are in the bazaar. Even the nymphs and all rares, including shards, are missing.

That "cooldown" is not local to Phoenix/Ash. It's how the game decides when the turn starts/ends before a creature can use its ability for the first time (or again). This card is the first to have a timer that starts either at the end of a turn or during your opponent's turn. That's why you can't use Ash's ability during your turn after your opponent kills your Phoenix.

I edited the strategy of the dck slightly, to something that DOES work. I still need to work on the pillar count though, and some little tweaks, so far the deck seems to work good.
