This is my first attempt at making a non-pillar based deck. Overall I have no complaints over the final product though any feedback will be read and put into consideration for the advancement of this or future decks.
The strategy of this deck is simple, play a ray of light (note: it can be a unuped normal photon or any other creature that costs 0 to play such as spark) immolate it and play what you can. The gnome riders are in there to give you more earth quanta as you get more lava golems on the field. The graboids are there as an easy way to deal heavy damage quick.
After playing about 50 games vs elders and about 50 against half-bloods I have gathered that this deck has roughly an 80% win percentage vs elders and near 50%-60% win percentage vs half-bloods.
Strengths:
-Easy to deal high damage early in the game
-Way more times than not you will get a solid starting hand
-Late game hard to get rid of buffed Lava Golems
-No permanents so permanent control cards are useless and a waist of deck space
Weaknesses:
-Slow starts lead to failure in the deck (i.e. if you don't get a golem out fast then the opponent will be able to draw and play spells to deal with weak creatures)
-No permanents so that means no shields
-
No creature control cards so you can't deal with the opponents creatures - FIXED
