sod gives you just 16 hp, sancts are better. they also protect you from devour, sob, bh, discords

i know, a first turn pulvy is gg (as for many other decks). SOFO is not a problem, you can siphon it well, try adding +1 or +2 siphon -1 or -2 towers if you feel like you need that CC. protect artifact will only be really useful against pulvys, so i dont find it useful to change the deck to a nova one just for that. you can survive well a couple of steals and explosions

Agree with you over Nova/Protect Artifact, you don't need that, this will be totally change the deck into a classical boring Shard of Void deck. Every deck have his nemesis
