Hello guys, first time poster and long time lurker here.

This deck is of course inspire by twinbuster Firelancer deck. One of the difficulty with the Firelancer deck is to achieve the elemental mastery especially without the SOG. Thus, i created this deck and use the Drain Life to replace the Firebolt/lance.

Problem with the Drain Life though is the reduce damage. So i make little adjustment,  the addition of the Fractal Black dragons.

Strategy

Play the same as the Firelance deck, which mean pray that you still alive with 19 or 18 cards left before  playing your first Dimension Shield. Keep the chain of shields. Play every pillar/tower you get.

If you have Nightfall, just put the card.  In addition to Drain Life, another card that you must hold until the last draw card is Fractal and Black Dragon. This is the reason why I only have 5 Drain Life instead of 6, to prevent from throwing away useful card due to full hand.

Wait until you have at least 130 dark quantum and minimum 4 Drain Life Cards, with Fractal and Black dragon, before start casting Drain Life. Make sure that you only have the Drain Life, Fractal and Black dragon in your hand. Play any other card, even if the card is not really useful, such as reflective shield. Cast the Drain Life first, and summon and fractal the black dragon to finish the god.

The reflective shield is use for any false god with reflective shield, such as Ferox. This deck has the same weakness as the Firelancer deck which mean, it cannot win against permanent control false god.

So this is my deck. I think the statistic of win/lose is about the same with the Firelancer deck. Of course the upgrade deck may perform better, (but not by a lot i think), and inclusion of SOG can help this deck win against false god which use poison and momentum, but SOG is hard to come by. If you have any advise or comment regarding this deck, please do share. And thank you twinbuster, which inspire this deck.

the deck seriously lacks quanta production. even if you manage to draw dim shields to cover you up, there's a high chance that you may not be able to play it.

the case is worse for the darkness, where you have to rely on (maximum of) 8 dragons for damage and wait like 20 turns to cast drain life.

i mean, i guess it can work against gods without perm control AND no momentum; but how many gods like that are there?

this actually looks like a cool deck... and it fits with other FG killers for upped towers (RoL/Hope uses Aether, Pesty FG uses aether and darkness)... I would like to see some stats or even better a god-by-god breakdown before I started seriously considering this deck for FG killing...

a god-by-god breakdown
Fire-lancer was said by its author to win 9 gods...
Destiny
 Elidnis
 Ferox
 Fire Queen
 Incarnate
 Miracle
 Neptune
 Osiris
 Paradox

Now look at this deck, the difference is, it uses draon to top up the damage....
Which means, Elidnis, Ferox, Miracle, Incarnate, Neptune with a shield will means it doesnt work very effectively........

Besides, I dont see why 1 dragon and 2 nightfall....... And the quanta production is massively low....
10 obsidan tower, you need 130 quanta, if you draw 2 tower from the start, which is very very likely on a 10 tower 31 card deck, and not draw a new one until 15 cards in, you probably need to get to the bottom card to win
4 Aether tower, the turn you can fractal, you might need to play a dimen shield, shield means you are low on aether and have to wait another turn, believe it or not, you wont in most cases have 4 aether towers all in play until when you are about to deck out....

Actually, this deck is really design for the last card draw before dealing the killer blow. So quantum problem is not really the issue. You usually lose because the broken chain of the phase shield. And nightfall is use to negate the shield by the FG.

And yeah, i usually cannot defeat the fire queen, but due to the firelance, as well as incarnate due to bonewall. But believe or not, vampire dagger or stiletto is really useful in this deck, not only for damage but for the healing as well.

I played with this for a while. It isnt the fastest or most efficient deck, but there is something incredibly fun about basically doing nothing then suddenly killing your opponent in the final turn :P. One thing I did was to upgrade the nightfall, as it basically adds 9 dmg to your final turn which can be quite nice if your semi low on quanta. Also I took 1 aether pillar out and put in a SoG, since I have 3 aether towers not pillars and have never ran low on aether. This is a fun deck to play though, and I almost never lose the fights that are winnable :P.

Yup, upgrading nightfall to eclipse will tremendously helping you out. But somehow i notice that eclipse card not stacking with one another, not like nightfall. I don't know if it is glitch or anything.

This deck is actually just a low management deck, relying on totally one skill set, which is extending the phase shield. You can just play while browsing internet or doing any other stuff. Just watch the phase shield counter before pressing the spacebar.....

Yeah its fun to use while watching tv or something. Do the nightfall's actually stack? I didnt think they did, but I guess i've never tried the unupgraded ones. I might try adding an electrocuter to it since it would help greatly with FGs that have momentum, like osiris and gemini, who have no perm control so would be beatable if you got an electrocuter out.

That is actually a pretty good idea! Just have to watch out for the quanta production for dim shield and fractal...hmm, so the nightfall doesn't stack as well?

Nope I just tested it, none of them stack. So yeah eclipse definitely better. As far as quanta, yeah you may have some issues with unupgraded ones. I have electrocuter already though and aether towers, and I never seem to be short of aether quanta, so yeah I think it'd help me for sure.

What's the point of the nova and reflective shield, if you're using Dim. shields anyway? For decks with emerald or reflective shields, shouldn't you just push on dragons? Say, replace them with another dragon and an  :aether pillar.

The reflective shield is so that you can use Drain life on yourself and it will reflect and drain the opponent if he has a reflective/jade shield.
