Yes it can, I was on my way to think Essence for this deck for that exact reason! Now it doesn't "always" win, but it does a high chance if played correctly.

So, thanks Essence for an amazing deck!

i love my new (2nd, actually hate it, but still awesome to the feeling) poseidon..

just finish grinding plat.. and yes, mr. xenocidus, it works on plat...

not sure if people play like i do, but i go:
(tracking  quanta)

1. put down 2 RoL
>end turn, gain 1 &  2

2. put down a shield
>end turn, total 2

3. nightmare the RoL, if you have, put down some more RoL (to draw CCs away)
>end turn, 1 

4. AI would probably put down all RoLs from nightmare, giving you more 
>end turn, 2 

5. put down crusaders
>end turn

6. put down weapon + fly it + bless it to ridiculous amounts + everyone (crusaders) endow the blessed vamp dagger
>awesomesauce
>reasoning behind the wait = fear of PC

there are cases where it's good to nightmare daggers instead (when your enemy is  and you know RoLs would just help)
also, there are times where you'd use the dragons instead (cc-heavy decks, you might wanna use crusaders as bait instead)

hmmm... i'm running a quite similar version (-1 dragon, -1 miracle, +1 sanc, +1 AW)
but i never manage to get a winning streak.. i might give this another try... thanks for posting a mod
