Yes, it's back in the thread. Wasn't me who said it, and it wasn't formulated as I did, nor was it in response to what bucky just said. I don't think I need to explain why I posted. I also haven't commented on this deck. Of course it has enough offense to beat down Elders. It's a solid build.

i had a pvp game the other day, i didnt draw one cremate, and i finally lost after going through 15 cards.  like wtf is that, 6/15 cards remaining are cremates.  this happens more often than i like, and i say its due to my bad luck.  usually always happens like that to me in pvp, but against ai's, i get good draws.

but anyway, total dmg output for a deck is not important in this because games won't last long enough for all the damage dealers to be played, hopefully anyway because that is the idea behind rushing.  based on that, and based on the percents of drawing cards you need from 24 cards compared to 30 cards, the 24 will usually come out ahead, unless of course im playing the deck, then randomness is thrown out and the screw you factor is now in place : (

Haha. Yes, it will kick Elder ass very consistently. The total damage calculation is relevant in a discussion about Precog, though, especially when making PvP decks. If I expect CC, I will naturally rather pack more creatures or ways to protect them than Precogs.

It has plenty of dmg output for what is needed. It may not have as much as others, but it doesnt need it. max dmg output is irrelevant, as it surpasses the needed dmg output. They ultimate goal of a pure rush deck is to try to outrush even the CC. That seems to be the ultimate view of this deck in my eyes, and is the reason there are not any more creatures. Putting in weaker creatures will just slow the deck, and allow more time for the opponent to draw and gain the quanta for its rush cards.

Anybody have tried the deck? It works, but I am not fully convinced about the unnuped phoenixes. If you only draw one cremation, it means that you have to choose between a lava golem and a phoenix, if you choose the phoenix, you are slower but you can cremate it if you draw a cremation and you don't have another cremation fodder. On the other hand, if you played the lava golem, then you can't play the phoenix and it is very sad being drawing cremations and don't have nothing to cremate and to have to cremate your own golem.

In my opinion a similar deck with novas is a lot better, because a lot of times happens cremations + nova=two lava golems or crimson dragon.  Only tested this deck in 30 games, maybe not enought games to make conclusions, but this is the feeling that I have about the deck.

chances are that you will get a precog in your hand and if you can cremate a ball lightning right away you can precog up something.  and the fact remains that drawing 2 minor phoenix and 1 lava golem means you have 4 other cards compared to 1 phoenix and 1 lava golem leaving you with 5 other cards, and 2 of those cards need to be a cremation and fodder (ball lightning or photon).  relying on fewer cards will always give better results, and unupped phoenixes do make this deck faster.
