So a question for playing this deck upgraded...

Twin Universe vs Phase Dragon?

Vs certain FG, TU will be nearly useless giving you a very small creature.   Vs others, you can get something truly monsterous.

What about spliting the middle and going for the untargetable dragons?   Expensive, but short of fire shield, they are there to stay.

First, its low on quanta already, being un-upped
Second, 70hp titan takes morte/incarnate for example 100 years to kill
Third, momentum is way better then un-upped dragons

Remember this is an un-upped (almost) FG killer

True.  PU will always give you another 7/70 Momentumed creature under the worst of circumstances; it only takes 4 of those to kill an FG in 8 turns.  I'd stick with PU over Dragons, pretty much under all circumstances.

I tried this for a while, and my conclusion was that you couldn't profitably grind FGs with this deck.  You could most certainly win a few times and get some nifty cards out of it though.

I tried in the trainer and works for me. I think newbies in the game should use this deck to start killing False Gods in order to gain upgraded cards.

Thanks Essence for the idea.  8)

I've been playing this variant:

plus 4 SoGs and a Lobo and it's a really fun alternative to SG's unupped rainbow. Just wondering, is a shard of divinity a good addition too? I've been thinking they always are to any deck, but maybe I'm mistaken?
Btw, anybody else always thinking "2 rares 1 cup" when they read the thread title? Probably not...

it seems like the odds of pulling off this combo are pretty damn slim with just the one animate weapon. Also, if you threw in a lobo, then you'd have three weapons and ONE animate weapon, so you'd fly one titan and use the lobo as your weapon, and then PU the titan? What if you draw the lobo early on? You can't play it because then you'll destroy it by playing the titan. And what if the animate weapon is at the bottom of the deck or thereabouts? hmmm....

EDIT: I built the deck in the original post, plus a couple SoG, played 20 FGs, lost every single time. About half of them were "ditches", 2 were "easy", and the rest were hard/variable. The two that were "easy" killed me because I didn't draw a titan or an otyugh until way too late.

Maybe I just didn't play enough, but this is one HELL of a fail at a farming deck if I have to spend more than 600 electrum to even WIN one friggin' game. Ridiculous.

Finkel, I would wager that, like any FG farmer, it takes a few dozen games to feel out the deck and get your strategy right.  I expect to lose enough games whenever I switch farming decks that I won't break even until I win my first upgraded card -- but the win rate is always much better in the second hundred games. :)

And SupI'mRichard, I wouldn't dilute the deck with any SoDs.  The loss in consistency isn't going to be worth the chance at a few extra ep when you win.

I've only been utilizing the Lobo during early game to lower the threat of Fire Queens or Pharaohs for example. Later on I just replace it.
A 2nd Animate Weapon probably wouldn't hurt but I don't have electrum.
Are Massive Dragon and Elite Charger safe to sell or are they worth keeping? How about a 5th Electrum Hourglass? If I sold (any of) them I could get another Animate W.
Edit: Nice, FQ just gave me one  ;D.

Arondight, PM Yaladilae for advice with upgrading this deck.  He's got more experience with it than I do. :)

I'll be okay. I have all the cards except for Towers for Aether. So, I can tweak it around to suit my needs.  :)

Upgrading pillars sure is somewhat of a hassle.
