This is more or less a remake of the level 3 AI version. There are a two key changes that seem to greatly enhance its survivability:
  • 1) No individual scarab cards, these are replaced by Shard of Readiness.
-Fewer cards needed to get some initial scarabs
  • 2) Gravity pull instead of heal
    • Deck doesn't seem to need the extra healing on top of staves and empathic bonds
    • Gravity initial offensive capability that was lacking in the elder version. Good in case of otyughs, etc
      • scarabs often don't grow fast enough to deal with early game threats
      • can wear down high hit point creatures that would be hard to get to till late game (such as colosal dragons and steam machines)
    Suggested upgrade priorities:
    -Hourglass
    -Time towers
    -Shards
    -Gravity pull
    -Catapult
    -Pharaohs

I'm still testing this, but it seems to have won a high percentage of games. Most losses have been due to bad draws (lack of pharaohs or pillars). Have fun hunting false gods.

Just because it's an AI3 deck doesn't mean it's good lol.
First off, trios are hard to balance, so you might have some trouble.
Secondly, if you want ready pharaohs, make a deck just based on that, no need to drag in all these unnecessary cards in.
Take out that lone SoG. Even if you were using a life mark, it'd be pretty much useless.
Gravy pulls are pretty much useless since scarab devour should be sufficient CC.
Catapult's aren't that useful unless you can chuck huge scarabs.
Like all other swarm decks, a single shield rips this apart (you also have no PC or momentum), and a 2dr shield shuts it down completely.
Unupped scarabs also have a measly 2 atk.

Yes, quanta balance is tricky as always, but as trios go, the quanta balance seems to be ok in most of the games.
Gravity pull actually is VERY useful. Early game it can take down creatures until the scarabs are ready. More importantly, it can be used to wear down large creatures that are too big to be devoured easily. For instance, it is nearly impossible to devour a massive dragon. Since this deck was made for hunting false bloods having a second option is invaluable. Catapults give a way to bypass shields late game, and empathic bond provides the healing you need to survive.
I already tried a deck based solely on ready pharaos without empathic bond for heals. It fails. Without gravity, scarabs loose their cc. So this really does need a trio to work.
I will try swapping out the extraneous SoG though.
Switching some catapults to pulls may help though since I really only get enough quanta to power one or two it seems.

If you SoR a scarab, their ability is free for the rest of the game.  It's completely worth it to SoR a scarab or two to take care of your opponent's creatures, so one doesn't NEED to have Gravity in a scarab deck.

Sadly, this is quite true which is why it doesn't seem to work so well against the more streamlined false god decks. It seems to do well against half bloods though which is what I was aiming for. Since half bloods tend to have very random decks, they usually don't pull off a rush very well. Unfortunately, pharaohs are just a little to pricy to get out early enough to deal with rush decks.
So far I've been getting an awefully good win rate vs half bloods with this. About as good or maybe slightly better than liquid shadow / am. I seem to win about 75% of the games, but i've only played about 30 or 40 so far.

Liquid AM is not know for it's high win rate.
