I also haven't received pms from all the people that did sign up about their preferred elements either, so don't forget to forum pm me those! After the deadline ends, I'd still like to make sure we have an even number of participants to ensure everyone gets a match (meaning one more might be able to sign up).
To the people worried about being busy with holidays, vacations and stuff: even if you lose the first round (hopefully around 29 Dec - 5 Jan), you can still win the event!
