I am sorry to have posted this so late, my internet went down
then i shall make another post to answer all the questions...

In the real world, water(H
2O is the symbol of change. It is the the only thing to exist in all 3 states, solid, liquid, and gas, in nature. Water in this game... is different. It is the only element to get last in both wars (hasn't really changed) and most water decks are known to not have much flexibility.
I am here to prove this wrong.
Afterall shallow water is clear, and see-through therefore easily predicted. Thus making it extremely weak. An easy example of this would be, to put a glass under a running tap to fill it, thus giving you a glass of water. It takes you less than a second to look at it and see the water, then right through it, and then the other side of the glass. If you dip your finger into it, you can reach the bottom easily. It takes you just a little bit longer to dump it all down the sink, immediately disposing of what little threat it originally posed.
Most people see this, and just walk away labeling water as a weak element, and dismissing it. However they have not yet seen the, more resistant, and stronger, deep water. Go back to your tap, this time fill up your whole sink. You can still see all the way to the bottom in most cases. However will you not get your sleeves wet if you stick your hands inside? Or will it not take a lot longer to empty down the sink? Yet again disposing of all danger. Then go look at the ocean, and imagine how long it would take to fill with a simple tap. The ocean, which is an endless mass of bottomless water with a deep blue hue. None have ever reached the bottom. Even the most dangerous of hurricanes, earthquakes and other natural/man made assaults have failed to clear this slaughter house of ships.
It is not very different in game, as the longer you play with water, the better it seems, and the better it can perform. I've been playing with water, on and off since this i started playing (about 2 or 3 months after the game came out). From the third deck I ever made, I remember vividly how much i loved the freeze+forest spirit+frog+empathy+ice shield combo (not very effective 60 card decks ftw). To these new streamlined (no pun intended) war and trials decks, when the water becomes deeper.
So who does it take to harness all this power, and put it to good use? An experienced player, with enthusiasm, and the blessing of time.
I am not the very best person for this role, as I know Essence could never be replaced if he were to be taken off his throne. But I can guarantee that I am experience, enthusiastic, and can squeeze enough time to help out the community.
