Yeah, I'm nervous.  I slaughtered the Master of Fire in the first Trials, but Fire has gained some interesting new tools since then, so I'm not sure if my "How to Beat Fire" deck applies.  That and the 6 off-element cards changes the game a lot.

We'll see. :)
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

Guolin-RavingRabbid

3-2

Deck codes I used will be posted in a little while after I find and fight nilsie.

Battle 1: I used Adrenalined Crawlers. Raving easily destroyed it with Toadfish...:) 0-1

Battle 2: I used my Artic Infection deck. Raving somehow destroyed it...0-2

Battle 3: I used Steals and some Toadfish. Raving used Chrysaora rush. I started stealing his Pendulums, limiting his Death quanta and allowing me to use more Steals. He was winning, as he had a bunch of poison counters on me, and kept on asking me if I had a purify. Turns out I did. :) (funny thing - I was about to remove them for some pillars, but remembered that water had a poison option) I rushed him with Toadfish, and that was that. 1-2

Battle 4: I used Mindgates plus miscellaneous Water cards. I got a Mindgate out fairly quickly, and I easily froze Raving's Toadfish and Dragons using a Quinted Squid. He used a bunch of Wings, so it was a battle of attrition until he drew an Artic Dragon and I copied it three times. I barely won with ~16 HP. 2-2

Battle 5: Pressure's on. Somehow, I doubted that Raving would counter my Mindgate deck, probably because I've used different decks for the first 4 battles. Since the last game was a success, I used the exact same deck as Battle 4. Raving used Water-Life - since he used a Thorn Carapace, I had to use the Freezes I copied off Raving instead of Squids. I whittled him down using the Ice Dragons I copied off of him, while freezing Raving's own Ice Dragons. 3-2

Battle 1: I had a very good deck.

Battle 2: No chance for him

Battle 3: Purify, oh, damned purify

Battle 4 and 5: I wonder why I even built those decks.

Who won?

I haven't been able to get together with Antagon.  For a few days, I kept seeing him in chat, but he wasn't really there, and then every time I left, he'd PM me like 15-20 minutes later...then for the last few days, I haven't seen him at all.  :(
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

RavingRabbid 1 - Nilsieboy 3

Game 1) I used a toadfish deck. He used a stale deck. 0-1
Game 2) Time out
Game 3) Time out
Game 4) I used a speed poison, He used the stale deck again. 1-1
Game 5) I went for the speed poison again. This time he had purifies in the stale deck. 1-2
Game 6) Time out
Game 7) Desynchronization on a good situation for him. He was using Adrenalined Crawlers, I went for Toadfish+Deflag. (let's just say he was two turn away from killing me)

I was so nervous I played in a childish way.

(actually, I posted this because Nilsie had to go do something)

Yea, there was quite the debate about the outcome of the duels in chat.  I'm not sure if they agreed on anything.

Thanks Dragoon1140

I'm making a ruling and basing points on wins from games played.
This means all candidates got 3 wins each sharing the points evenly.
Obviously SG can overule this but its what works when there is a no result.

Same on this side. I think our times are kind of funked up.
