Phase 3 - Community Vote

It's time to vote for your favorite Master candidate!  Every community member has one vote. You can change your vote at any time as long as there is still time on the clock.

Vote based on who you think would make the best Master of that element. Do not vote based on who is the best player or who you know personally. Try to pick someone who you think would help the community the most as THE representative for their element.  If you do not have any preference for who should be Master, or cannot decide between the candidates, please select the "None Worthy" option.

To help you make the best decision possible, feel free to ask the candidates questions.  Both challengers and defending Masters ought to answer the questions in this thread to help the voters make the best possible choice.  Please put all your answers in a single post (employing spoiler tags is recommended).  Also, challengers should include in that post a link to your Phase 1 submission post.

Questions and answers may begin now that this topic is posted.
Voting will begin when the polls are up at the official start of Phase 3.
Phase 3 ends when poll expires.
Deckbuilding mad scientist.  Come by and hang out in my stream!

Trials 6 || Trials 7

Spoiler for vrt:
Dear candidates,

In order to better understand your relation to water, I need to know; what is your favorite song to sing in the shower?

Very good question. Eagles - Hotel California, my favorite vocal track of all time.

Spoiler for ji412jo (part 1):
To all water trialists

would you like to be able to walk on water?

Yes, definitely. What I would like more, though, is to be able to ride my bike on water.

Spoiler for TribalTrouble:
Why did you choose to take on this trial?
Explain the Water Mark's design. What does it mean to you, and what is the reason for all them circles.

I joined this Trials because I have a deep emotional connection with Water, not only as an element, but on many levels.

I interpret the Water Mark as a drop of water decending below the surface of the water, with the dots showing three different stages, with the circles being ripples from the water droplet.

Spoiler for Pineapple:
Let's get the obvious, boring ones over and done with:

What is your favorite Water card in Elements?
What is your favorite element to use with Water (besides more Water, of course)?
What is one thing the Water element lacks in the current meta?

Interpret the questions as you wish.

My favorite Water card is Arctic Squid, my favorite element to use with Water is Fire, and Water currently lacks PC, which is a problem in most metas.

Spoiler for Kakerlake:
Hm.. whom should I vote for? Hard choice is hard, even though it's only water.

Have you ever tried making an ice sculpture of Bunny? well, i haven't but it seems like a good idea. sounds like too much work for this though.
So, how about drawing a nice icy picture of Bunny? The most awesome one wins my vote. (adding bacon for additional awesomeness isn't allowed)

Will work on this :3

Spoiler for dragonsdemesne:
Open question to all candidates: What nymphs tears duo do you like the best and why?

Either Time, because Golden Nymph is one of my favorite cards in the game, or Entropy, because the defensive capabilities Entropy has are phenomenal.

Spoiler for Odii Odsen:
@ddevans: For some reason I always thought you are an ex master of water but I was wrong. Do you have experience with water in war? Do you think water has realistic chances to win war with the "current" war rules like the low amount of ups the teams can use?

I was General of Water last war. I feel I could have had quite a successful war if some things that happened (trolling in Auction, real-life issues for most of our team, a very painful round 4) didn't happen. I fully believe Water is capable of winning War in the near future, but everything has to come together properly for any team to do well.

Spoiler for Laxadarap:
Realistically, do you think you can topple aether? Whats so new/not new this time (more important part)?

Yes, I do. One thing that's new is my confidence - last War, a lot of things went wrong, but I learned a lot from that, and I fully believe I can successfully lead a Water team to good standing in War.

Spoiler for Submachine:
Question for ddevans96:

For me, you already proved that you can organize good propagandas.
Spoiler for propaganda gold:

However, some random fan of an opposing team was not lazy to criticize your work:
wow
such slime
transparent
so inedible
wow
What do you reply to this?

Higu's welcome to have a different sense of humor than me. Personally, I found her reply fun and lighthearted, much like my poster was intended to be. Although I would consider being slimy, nearly invisible, and inedible advantageous in War - I could be a very good spy.

Something worth noting is that I have an excellent propaganda idea for Water, but whether I'll ever successfully be able to use it...well, we'll see.

Spoiler for ARTHANASIOS:
To all candidates:
What is your opinion of Flooding? Overpowered/underpowered, overused/underused, overestimated/underestimated? Should it be buffed/nerfed/berfed? Can you make a shardless deck which can make an original use of 6 (yes, six) copies of this card? :P

Balanced, though on the weaker side, underused, underestimated, I'd like to see it buffed slightly but at this point there's no way to do it, and yes I could. I'm not going to, though, it's just going to be taking any existing Water stall and pushing it up to 60 cards, there's nothing interesting about that.

Spoiler for ji412jo (part 2):
MY question, part 2 : what if being able to walk on water removed your ability to swim.
You would have to choose between walking on water, or swimming around water.
What do you choose?

Walking on water, definitely.

Spoiler for Blacksmith:
All questions answered until now.  ;)

To both my competitors.

You were both part of war team 7# last war. What is the reason for the result and what will you do different this time?

I've already explained this in previous answers (primarly to Odii), but last War was a trainwreck on so many levels. Obviously my goal is to not let a trainwreck happen again.

Spoiler for hainkarga:
Watch this video and freely tell me what you think of this glorious man and his words: Be water my friend

This is excellent. I think he speaks very wise words here.

My favorite part about this video is near the end, when he says, "Now Water can flow, or it can crash. This line resonates with me on many levels.

Spoiler for Frozengaia:
Dear all water triallists:

Water is an element I constantly underestimate and constantly glance over.
I've gone on record saying nymphs tears is the only good card in water. (And I regret it.)
Then I learn about the potency of ice shield, octopus, SoPa, and so much more. Stupid me.

But surely there has to be a reason for my ignorance.
So, other than flooding and abyss crawler, what is the weakest card in water's arsenal?
Why do you think this?

First of all, Abyss Crawler is a great card - Blue Crawler, however, is pretty bad :3

I'm not a fan of Freeze. I'm not going to call it weak, because it certainly does have its uses, but in the vast majority of cases I consider using it, I like Squids, Bolts, Ice Shields, or other CC better. Therefore, I find it to be the least useful card we have, apart from the two stated.

Spoiler for farscape:
Question to all candidates (challengers and old master too):

If I apply to participate in War, would you bid on me, and max how many cards ?  :-*

I'm going to assume we're using a different system than last war, where the auction has more leftover players, regardless of how many players there are per team, and the maximum bid remains 14.

Activity: There are perhaps more active people, but you do seem reasonably active. I don't know you too well, but you seem like you would stick with war until the end if selected. 3/4 here.

PvP Knowledge: Looking at a recent tournament, you beat three pretty good players, so you are clearly capable of deckbuilding and prediction, although I can't judge if that's just your best PvP ever or you're actually extremely good. 3/4 here too.

Personality: Again, without knowing you on a personal level, I've never seen any real drama from you, and you seem like a pretty friendly person. 3/4 again.

Water Loyalty: I don't know how much you've used Water in an event, or how much you like Water, but I would like prior knowledge of Water by at least someone else on my team. 0/2 (this is less important than the other three imo)

So overall, 9/14. This is close to the maximum price I would pay for you in an ideal auction. Ideally, I would get my team for as cheap as possible, but if it came down to the point where I needed my last player, I would go up to 8-10 if I felt you were my best option at that point.

Spoiler for vrt:
Dear candidates,

In order to better understand your relation to water, I need to know; what is your favorite song to sing in the shower?
Not sure if serious or not but I will answer anyway personally I do not sing in the shower and quite frankly I prefer baths to showers.

Spoiler for Odii Odsen:
@treebeard xiii: I know you like water. How many wars did you play in team water so far? Do you think you have enough experience to lead a team with an element that had problems in past wars? What were the biggest problems in water in your opinion?

I can see your point here and i will be the first to admit I may not truly be ready to lead a team in war never mind a specific element particularly a very tricky element to use well. I have only participated in one war and that was last war where i was water. However I feel I learned a good deal more from that one war than some people learn from multiple wars. The honest fact was I was shall we say not the most desirable player in that auction my upgrade collection was limited and was mainly one specific element.

However I felt I served the team well my general said that if he had listened to me more water would've done better (sorry if this s a misquote ddevs) but from very early on in war I was the main deck builder with ddevs giving extra insight and in case you didn't notice after a 0-5 round going down to one deck we managed to remain through to round 8. The decks we continued to use were my scrap builds Which would suggest I gauged the war meta very well.

Now onto the problems well as with most teams activity was a major problem but your not looking for a general problem your looking for a problem specific to water for which I can say was mainly a bad vault on our part not naming names but certain members took the vault building into their own hands without consulting with our general nor the rest of the team really. By the time we had seen our finished vault it was far too late to change it before the deadline, this meant we had to mass convert losing several crucial cards for water to make the vault legal. Also it is widely recognized that water lacks certain useful aspects in the war meta like reliable pc sources, heavy cc for not just delaying but negating creatures however it has several workarounds to thee weaknesses however it means it's vault has to be slightly more specialized than most elements instead of having cover all cards it needs to work to a very strict layout as it's cover all cards are predictable and therefore are often countered.

Spoiler for TribalTrouble:
Why did you choose to take on this trial?
Explain the Water Mark's design. What does it mean to you, and what is the reason for all them circles.

Now the reason I have chosen to participate in water trials instead of entropy as i said i would after last trials I realized that I knew very little about entropy as proven by my sound trouncing at the hand of cal. I tried experimenting a little and then I got picked for team water last war it was an awakening experience I realized that my true calling was in fact water I gauged the meta for water incredibly well I was finding by looking at the vault and looking at my opponents I could see decks where there were none to see, after war I then went on to start using water more and more in competitive pvp finding success where I had never found it before I soon realised I was a fool for even attempting entropy and should've gone with water instead and now i find myself using water more often then anyone else normally does and it was working. So I developed a passion for the element of water and I feel it needs guiding up the tiers to where I feel it belongs true I may not be the person to do this but by the great oceanus I will try my very best at doing so.

Now onto the mark and honestly I'm not the best person for delving into the depths of design but to me it is a graphical representation of how water acts over time the circles being the ripples of destruction is causes starting of small and slowly and steadily reaching its devastating potential It represents not only water in real life but in the world of elements also as it is an element that does very little damage early but that builds up overtime if a water deck isn't controlled in the first few turns of a game it will grow and overwhelm here are my favourite examples: the obvious one being its alchemy card nymph's tears and early nymph is a non issue but if you don't control it quickly you will find that one tear has built an army that is very hard to overcome, another being the rather unassuming chrysoara this 0 attack creature doesn't seem threatening but add a drop of poison and again you will find yourself in all sorts of trouble if not dealt with early. There are many more examples of this but you get the idea waters most dangerous cards are only dangerous late game and high priority targets.

Spoiler for Pineapple:
Let's get the obvious, boring ones over and done with:

What is your favorite Water card in Elements?
What is your favorite element to use with Water (besides more Water, of course)?
What is one thing the Water element lacks in the current meta?

Interpret the questions as you wish.

simple and straight to the point I see

Firstly my favourite water card that is a question I can not answer simply for I have no one favourite water I like lots of them each one is my favourite in certain situations, I will give more details if requested but for now I will start with my most generally favourite cards and those would be steam machine, tears and trident all for very different reasons my love for the mighty machine comes from very early in my elements day where my first effective deck was a growth deck and to this day growth cards hold a special place in my heart, Trident I love to many people's surprise due to my clear hate for the world of denial is mainly because people underestimate the devastation it causes with the quanta to fuel it you never fear trident as much as you should until you have suffered a trident stomp. Now onto the tears there are many reasons to love this card but the main reasons I love it is it's ability to give a low creature deck one hell of a punch with a single card and the other reason is it allows water to gain in areas where it is sorely lacking speed, control and even healing underestimate the tears of a mermaid at your own peril.

Favourite element with water is another question I have no simple answer for as all elements help water out some less obvious than others and no I am not just talking tears quite a lot of duos function just fine without tears. My personal favourite elements to use with it would depend on the meta upgraded entropy is high up there along with air, unupgraded fire and air are fine allies.

Now what is water lacking this is simpler to answer quite frankly it i lacking the necessary cards to set up fast enough in a meta widely dominated by either stalling your opponent out or rushing as fast as you can it lacks consisitant resources for countering these in element. Sure it is easy enough to add these things in through splashes but in-element where an element should be at it's fastest water has very little same with the elements of light, gravity and life all widely regarded as bottom tier elements and war standings show as much. However like all the elements i have listed water can solve it's issues however it takes a different approach than you would expect and one that isn't favoured as much in the competitive meta. The world of risk-taking it is much easier to settle for your plain old grabbow for control and your high speed monos like fire and dark and then there is the oh so dominent element of aether which does all those things to a reasonable standard in element. Decks that are tried and tested on so many levels that they've been played to death.

Due to my terrible art I don't think I would do the all powerful bunny justice with my art skills so I have to decline in honor of all bunny followers everywhere. So I guess I won't be winning your vote kaker.

Spoiler for ji412jo:
To all water trialists

would you like to be able to walk on water?

While being cool if you were able to walk on water I don't feel it is a skill I need to have just being able to manipulate water is more than enough for me.
MY question, part 2 : what if being able to walk on water removed your ability to swim.
You would have to choose between walking on water, or swimming around water.
What do you choose?
If i had to choose I would choose to walk on water as I can't swim particularly well anyway but if i was able to swim I would choose swimming over walking on water due to the fact I won't be seen as some devil child or the embodiment of Jesus neither are the best image in the world. Besides there are already several ways for us to travel over the surface of water enough that walking on water is unnecessary

Spoiler for dragonsdemesne:
Open question to all candidates: What nymphs tears duo do you like the best and why?

My personal favourite tears duo is a fire one with deflag added i due to the fact it covers a lot of areas deflag deal with pesky perms that would otherwise shut down a nymph rush, rage on a stick is very powerful cc removing threats with ease. It is manly a control deck however it can shift gears into all out rush if necessary. Also last minute raged nymphs can make the difference between winning a losing it can make a turn difference.

Spoiler for ddevans:
To my competitors: Prove your connection with Water, either within Elements or otherwise.
proving my connection hmm interesting concept despite the obvious fact which has been used in the past for a real life connection I have one more that not everyone can claim I was born and spent my first fews years of life within the Thames Basin and on the river Thames. In elements while admittedly I have only been a water user for a short time (about a year) I have connected with it in ways I never connected with any other element I have achieved much greater pvp success while under the great and benevolent oceania's wing and have been able to return to my ccg roots where I can see many different decks that can perform to the standard I expect.

Spoiler for Laxadarap:
Realistically, do you think you can topple aether? Whats so new/not new this time (more important part)?
well toppling aether as people know is no mean feat in war however toppling many other teams will help more than just defeating aether. There is no real new trick for water in war only the ability to see decks that have either never been seen before or forgotten long ago. It requires a vision than anyone one of us three can provide, even easier with the aid of others what is truly needed is the right vault and the right level of activity for the team too little and we will get nowhere too much and there will be too many arguments. Aether's advantage was having a very strong general and a decent team having one or the other is easy having both is a whole different board game, not forgetting that aether has one of the most well rounded card bases of all the elements. Water also has a well rounded card base but it is trickier to use effectively. In short what water needs isn't a buff, aether doesn't need a nerf it needs the abilities within the team to make the most of the element we have chosen.

Spoiler for Submachine:

Question for treebeard xiii:

In the last war, I had some 'heavy donation' for the water tribe in the form of a possible propaganda mascot. By the time, Water already had a good propaganda, so I was late with my 'donation'. If you will be responsible for making Propaganda for Team Water in War #8, will you include my suggested mascot?

Spoiler for Hidden:
Seriously, will you? ;)

For a start I am not going to sink so low as to bribe you to vote for me by promising to use your mascot however if the mascot is suitable for the approach I am taking for propaganda I will surely consider it or any other suggestions you or anyone else makes. I also need to find out if it would be legal for me to use any suggestions that are made. If you truly think I am worthy of leading water then I shouldn't need to bribe you to earn your vote :P

Spoiler for blacksmith:

To both my competitors.

You were both part of war team 7# last war. What is the reason for the result and what will you do different this time?

The reason for our terrible showing last war is a combination of many things only some of which i am aware of the reasons I'm sure ddevs can fill in the rest, the reasons I am aware of include a badly built vault which meant in the first round we had to transmute at least two of our spare decks to make sure our decks were all legal lack of activity from most of the team heck I'd sat in the team chat for whole days and nobody but ddevs would log in, also the biggest killer of all teams war campaigns bad luck in rounds which meant we lost more matches than we could afford. All of which can't really be changed by any powers we have except a better built vault which shouldn't be an issue this war regardless of which of us three gets mastership.

Spoiler for hainkarga:
Watch this video and freely tell me what you think of this glorious man and his words: Be water my friend

very wise words by the legend that is Bruce Lee words that describe water almost exactly. In this game water is not fully to those words however there are many things that are biggest example being the card nymph's tears  which has no form until you target a pillar or pendulum. Now returning to the words you have provided to use water one must indeed understand what it is to be water and I feel out of the three competitors of this trials only me and ddevs truly understand what it is to be water in the world of elements but I will not say because of this blacksmith cannot lead water to success.

Why do you think this?

well water being considered a very weak element is a very common misconception you look over the cards and you see the only obvious way to kill a creature in water is through duos with air and it is highly weak to some very strong shields like wings and dims the honest fact is on the surface all cards but tears appear to be weak everything else is either done quicker or easier with other elements. However as with several cards a large proportion belong to water if you truly think about the cards and what they actually do you soon realise that heck in the right situations these cards can dominate a duel early trident with quanta to quake and your opponent will find if very hard to recover, an early squid and the speed of your opponents deck is cut down dramatically, a constant chrysoara and poison is stacked on faster than any other reliable source of poison (there's a reason chrysoara decks are called speed poison) and there are many examples of this. As for the weakest cards in waters arsenal in all honesty a lot of the cards are weak unless fielded in the right situation. As for crawler and flooding, crawler is only weak unupgraded, upgrade it and it is one of the most reliable vanilla creatures in the game. Flooding is an unusual card whereas alone it is basically useless but combine it with one of many of water's strategies and your opponent finds themselves in a lot of trouble as flooding can act as either denial, cc or stall. Your misconception is very understandable you ask any major pvper what water cards have played a role in their largest number of wins most will say either they rarely use water or they will say tears or sop. However this is more to the fact people like using stuff they know works rather than risking it and using other decks.

Now for the rest of your question personally I fell mind flayer is water's weakest card and flooding is it's most niche card. I feel flayer is weakest because lobo does the job much better and for similar costs.

Spoiler for farscape:
Question to all candidates (challengers and old master too):

If I apply to participate in War, would you bid on me, and max how many cards ?  :-*

I cannot really answer this question because any hint as to your actions in the auction will come back to haunt you. The odds of me bidding on you will depend on what you can offer the team and I will not go into anymore detail as rival generals are bound to at least look at this thread at some point.

Spoiler for ARTHANASIOS:
To all candidates:
What is your opinion of Flooding? Overpowered/underpowered, overused/underused, overestimated/underestimated? Should it be buffed/nerfed/berfed? Can you make a shardless deck which can make an original use of 6 (yes, six) copies of this card? :P
My opinion of flooding is it is fine in certain niche decks however in most other situations it is relatively underpowered as there is no way of buffing it without making it rather strong that i can thik of the card itself should be left as is but maybe water could get more cards that can make use of it the main issue with flooding is not that it is bad just that when it is used it is used in very specialist decks like ragequit factory amongst other things.

As for the deck it is rather hard to build a deck with six of a card that you only need one or two copies of I could do it but instead of showing you what the deck is I will tell you my strategy with it if upped I would make a puffer fish deck that would use flooding in a unique way as denial of your opponents quanta squids and/or auburn nymphs to lock down the middle five play zones puffers to damage through shields and nymphs for a zerg if necessary It would probably make it a larger deck so as to not as likely too get clogged with additional floodings however it would not be a full on stall even though it could do it it main focus would be to kill you opponent with damage while using control to proven my opponent from dealing too much damage. I recall someone using this strategy against me in the past and found it frustrating at first and then realised dang that is a nice way to use flooding.

love makin my decks unusual if able. Chaos and luck are widely regarded as different i beg to differ just refer to :entropy but for those in the know also refer to :time and :death.

Why did you choose to take on this trial?
Explain the Water Mark's design. What does it mean to you, and what is the reason for all them circles.

Let's get the obvious, boring ones over and done with:

What is your favorite Water card in Elements?
What is your favorite element to use with Water (besides more Water, of course)?
What is one thing the Water element lacks in the current meta?

Interpret the questions as you wish.

Okay the question hasn't been asked yet but I'm certain it will come soon.

Why in the world didn't you defend your master title?

I had lots of fun and learnt a lot in trials 7# and war 7#, I do love the  :earth element. However I came to the conclusion that I would learn more if I trialed for another element. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I'm a complete earth player ( which I don't think one can become ) what I'm saying is that I think I would learn more if I trialed for another element and what other element would fit better than the element that is actually closest to earth in thematic and gameplay?
  • Water just like earth has CC in form of delay.
    Spoiler for Hidden:
  • It's vanilla is very much alike.
    Spoiler for Hidden:
  • O and not to forget these cards.
    Spoiler for Hidden:
  • Both elements are very versatile and aren't focused on doing one thing like fire or light, they are able to build almost all kinds of decks, which I like.
In my elements time I have come to the conclusion that people use to end up liking the element they have played the most with or the element they started with. For example war 6# Zso Zso ( master of  :light ) didn't have  :light as any of his 3 favorite elements even so after one war with  :light it became his favorite and he trialed for it. Another example is Qazzaq1231 who is currently one of the people with above 1M score he was also very active in kong community. His first element was  :darkness and it's still his favorite 27K games later.
I can't honestly say that I have one favorite element, but I do have favorite elements and water is definitely one among them. As a master of water I would with my skill as a player and general lead my element to the highest positions in war even though water has the worst record in war history so far.

I would do my best to show people how great :water is and I do believe that I am the most capable person to lead the water element out of the people trialing today. Thank you for you time, Blacks

Other questions.

  • VRT: In order to better understand your relation to water, I need to know; what is your favorite song to sing in the shower?
    Spoiler for answer:
I'm terrilbe at making songs which is quite bad since I'm a guitar player. The only time I actually manage to do something good is when I sing strange songs in the shower. So to answer your questions if I sings songs in the shower it's my own songs.
  • Ji412jo:  would you like to be able to walk on water?
    Spoiler for answer:
It would be kind of spoky and I'm quite sure that people on the country side would burn me for being possessed by the devil. But besides that why not, it's very practical and it prevents you from drowning. So I think we have a deal, mysterious powers, yes please.
  • Ji412jo:  MY question, part 2 : what if being able to walk on water removed your ability to swim.
You would have to choose between walking on water, or swimming around water.
    What do you choose?

    Spoiler for answer:
Now it's starts to get tricky. It's easier to walk on the contrary bathing wouldn't be as fun looking like a duck walking around in water with you hands. But I'd still say yes since it would be much easier to get to places+I could brag about it.
  • TribalTrouble: Explain the Water Mark's design. What does it mean to you, and what is the reason for all them circles.
    Spoiler for answer:
Ah finally a question that makes sense:)  Water is a floating element which the drops within the circle is a sign of, the drops are also  marks for each state of aggregation  floating, frozen, gas and plasma. Each aggregation symbolize what a player needs to win a game( to control a element to lead it to victory )
    • Skill
    • Knowledge
    • Preparation
    • Luck
There are 3 circles one around each drop, they are there to hold the drop where it's supposed to be. One of the drops does not have a circle which controls it that is simply plasma which is a sign of RNG (luck). These are the 4 tools one need to win a game even so you can only control 3 of them. So to answer you question tribal the circles are signs of what you can control.

The water mark keeps reminding me of whats important.

  • Pineapple+ dragonsdemesne:
    • What is your favorite Water card in Elements?
      Spoiler for answer:
Superb card that offers so many different deck combinations, can't do anything but really like it.
I'll add this one since I think it needs more credit.

One of my favorite shields. has the potential to on it's own change a matchup from lose to win. Does even work as a CC card. To bad people underestimate it.
    • : What is your favorite element to use with Water (besides more Water, of course)?
This spoiler also answers dragonsdemesne question!
      Spoiler for answer:
Ahhh so many good choices. Water is good at working with others, but I can only choose one and one can only be death due to this deck. This also the answer of  dragonsdemesne's question which my favorite nymph tears deck is.http://elementscommunity.org/forum/duo-decks/death-tears-water-death/
    • What is one thing the Water element lacks in the current meta?
      Spoiler for answer:
Like I mentioned earlier water is a very versatile element which doesn't lack very much but I would like a card that protects it's cards like cloak or something. Simply since water relays so much on cards like squids, nymphs tridents which can be the different between win and lose if these cards stays alive.

  • Kakerlake:o, how about drawing a nice icy picture of Bunny? The most awesome one wins my vote. (adding bacon for additional awesomeness isn't allowed)
    Spoiler for picture:
Sorry for the eye cancer. It was not intended, I hope this picture won't cause you more caner. I'm not a very good painter.
Upside down to reduce eye damage.
  • Odii Odsen:@Blacksmith: I see the parallels you listed between Earth and Water. I was surprised though. I think playing/leading team water is much harder than team Earth, because Earth is more popular in war and you have options to get more experienced player. Why didn't you try one more time to go with Earth and afterwards with Water? Don't you think it was a bit too early to switch to a more "complicated" element? I know about your Skills but this is a challenge you'll need many time to offer. How active will you be in the next war? Any assumption?
    Spoiler for answer:
Yup of some reason earth is more popular than water mainly due to graboid I think. If people don't know a element it will be chosen less times=become less popular, but that does not make a element less good. I do believe that I will be able to build a strong team and I don't think people will back of due to it being a less popular element. Tbh I don't think leading earth another time would make me to a much better water general. It would make me to a better earth player but my skill as leading a general won't increase very much I think.
And I will most likely be just as active as last war:)
  • Laxdarap:Realistically, do you think you can topple aether? Whats so new/not new this time (more important part)?
    Spoiler for answer:
Happy to hear from you again. One thing is very different, deuce won't lead team aether. This means that a new unexperienced master will lead aether and that will most likely affect aether's performance. Further more I don't think that aether will get as many pros as they did last war.
This time I will also be more experienced and be sure to pick a active and strong team. So to answer your question I'm certain we will be able to topple aether with some luck and hard work.
  • Submachine:In the last war, when Team Earth still didn't have propaganda, I suggested a mascot for you, which was then rejected to do this:
    http://elementscommunity.org/forum/propaganda/earth-51415/

    Why? - is my question.
    Spoiler for answer:
Last war I was novice and actually didn't know that everyone that made propaganda gained points. I thought that the war team with most votes gained extra cards. When I looked at other teams( like  :darkness who made a propaganda video or  :aether ) it was clear that I wouldn't be able to compete with them in style. I was more focused on which cards that was to be chosen to the vault. So instead of being as classy as possible I did the exact opposite to stand out from the other teams.
  • ARTHANASIOS:What is your opinion of Flooding? Overpowered/underpowered, overused/underused, overestimated/underestimated? Should it be buffed/nerfed/berfed? Can you make a shardless deck which can make an original use of 6 (yes, six) copies of this card? :P
    Spoiler for answer:
Flooding is not very UP in my opinion however it's highly underused and thats simply cause there is no room for such card in current meta. It's a bit underestimated I think. The problem with flooding is that flooding is actually a stall card and water aren't very good at stalling compared to other elements. Even so I gave it a try and i think it works okay after all.
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
    Deck import code : [Select]
    778 778 778 778 778 778 778 77k 77k 77k 77k 77k 77k 7gp 7gp 7h0 7h0 7h0 7h0 7h0 7h0 7h1 7h1 7h1 7h1 7h1 7h1 7i6 7i6 7i6 7i6 7i6 7i6 7i6 7i6 7i6 7i6 7i6 7i6 8pm
The idea is to produce earth nymphs that delays the five active creature that is able to stay alive from the flooding.( according to Arth upped flooding was ok to use, thank you for that )

    • Frozengaia: So, other than flooding and abyss crawler, what is the weakest card in water's arsenal?
      Why do you think this?
      Spoiler for answer:
Tbh abyss is one of the best vanilla cards in the game upped. Water is a element with many cards that are slightly weaker than other cards alike in other elements, in exchange it gets a versatility. Some examples:
      • abyss vs steel golem
      • Ice bolt vs fire bolt
      • Dry spell vs thunderstorm
      • Freeze vs Basilisk blood
The only card I'd consider Up among these are flooding, dry spell and ice bolt.
Dry spell demands a very special deck to be useful therefore I'd say it's one of the less useful card in the water arsenal.
Ice bolt got a hard nerf when quanta cap was reduced to 75 hp making it to one of the weakest cc cards in the game. It is also overshadowed by the other cc cards in water like freeze and squid. Therefore it's the card I would miss the least in the water arsenal after flooding.
      • hainkarga: Watch this video and freely tell me what you think of this glorious man and his words: Be water my friend
        Spoiler for answer:
The dude seems quite odd yet again I have no idea in which situation he means you are supposed to act like water, that aren't said in the video. It seems like he wants people to adapt to the places they are in "empty you mind, be formless, shapeless" that pretty much removes what I would say a human being is. A state where you are nothing, a nothing that adapts to something. To me that does not sound very good and of course my thoughts goes to China in the early 1950's possibly even late 70's as well. So simply obey to leaders be empty and adapt to new places.

Like I said in the beginning I have no idea in what situation he wants you to adapt therefore I can't fully understand what he means. But since I have to answer your question from the information I was given, I think he is talking rubbish in a very immersive way that makes it sound like something you should work towards, something glorious. I don't know if I think he s glorious either.
Also thank you Pineapple for the nice color!

Have you ever tried making an ice sculpture of Bunny? well, i haven't but it seems like a good idea. sounds like too much work for this though.
So, how about drawing a nice icy picture of Bunny? The most awesome one wins my vote. (adding bacon for additional awesomeness isn't allowed)

by the way, Blacksmith, did you realize that the blue color makes your text really hard to read? and it causes eye cancer
