@ all, but especially the ones who will face STANDIN:
a) Can you build a team that you can lead to victory? I believe this will have the following aspects:
b) Can you yourselves build good decks to beat your opponents? Can you predict and counter them with your element?
c) Can you draft a Team that is a capable of doing that whenever you cant?
d) Will you be able to inspire your teammates to do all in their power to fight for the win in every game?
e) Can you infect others with your enthusiasm for your element (if you have any in the first place)?
f) And most importantly: Will you put the necessary time investment in all those things?
So many questions. I altered the format of your post to aid reading
a) I have already built two Brawl teams that I have lead to victory, and a War team who achieved a higher finish than any in water's history. I think team building is one of my strongest talents. It needs experience, activity, personality and sportsmanship, with a healthy mix of competitiveness.
b) I have created several decks myself which have not only found a niche in Water meta, but that have actually been used by other elements or people in other metas. Shipwrecker was stolen by Earth. The Mariana Trench model has been adapted by other elements too. Those, and many of our other decks that I built were designed to specifically counter our opponents, as all good deckbuilding should.
c) I know my faults, and i know the faults of my element. In team-building I try to recruit people who would compliment my own talents. My recent War team was pretty perfect in the respect of balance and complimentary assets, and we excelled because of that.
d) I think everyone on Team Water last war could attest that I strove and succeeded to create a happy, exciting and mutually respectful team dynamic. Manuel found he disliked elements PvP too much, but out team dynamic was good enough that he was very respectful and apologetic telling us he didn't want to continue competing, and if anything, his departure made us want to strive even harder, and work even closer together.
e)I predict more people than ever will put water as one of their favorites for this coming war if I am Master. Not because of me directly, but because our decks were innovative, fun and interesting. People will want to be a part of that.
f) Provided War begins after my honeymoon finishes, which it is almost certain to, absolutely I have the time.
