• I played a deck and he played a mono time I guess. He had no way to beat through my phase shields, so EM. I have to say that I had a lucky starting hand though.

• vs - quicksands pwn deflags and he has no creature control (thanks to precogs I knew he has no RoF)
  I lost a total of 10 HP because he managed to play a single dragon at the end.

Yes, is always good and can form really nice synergies. The only reason I did not use a duo in these duels is because against rewinds blessing is not very useful, angels too. Light dragons seem to be the best amongst their kind, but against rewinds hp once again does not help, so they would only be useful against scarab decks... RoL could help a little but not in an unupped fight... the only card I think could work really nice would be a miracle... so maybe I'll try that against some other competitor? (now, that I 'open sourced' my decks I have to prepare some new surprise ones )

I also tried to design some deck, but so far my designs did not work too well. A Fahrenheit firebolter deck with deflags could work maybe, but I'd have to somehow fill half of the deck with cards, and even with the decks posted above I feel guilty of centering my strategy on the second element and using only as a support. (the funny thing is that you can easily add 6 sundials and 6 precogs to pretty much any duo deck just to fulfill the requirements of half of the deck being time, without affecting the decks performance too much, but once again it does not work so good unupped).

I also tried to design some but found it to be too slow to form a nice quantum denial deck, nor a vampire healing deck. Maybe a steal centered one could work (really nice when you fight the same element), but with the increased cost of steal I guess no more than 3 or 4 steals could be payed by mark, so I'd rather try to design a deck with pillars and some more versatility.

Now that I think of it, also offers some possibilities for a nice anti-time deck. also would be fun mummies vs. rewind?

I think the main reason why Kael Hate lost is because his decks were not designed to counter time decks specifically. Or he simply had really bad draws... anyway I fear the best deck to counter some of my strategies would be a fractal scarab or a pharaoh rush one... or maybe not?

Now, that was a tough battle!

• "It's time for earth-shattering graboids" vs. his deck... we both had a bad start, but I won in the end.
• I tried my new deck, but... Kuroaitou swarmed me with an army of momentumed scarabs... there were hundreds of them and I had no way to fend them off!... ok, there were three, and only one had momentum... and I had a thorn carapace... but anyway he won.
• My "drocsiD" deck vs. his ... it was a close battle until he stole my discord. Now, if only I had an hourglass earlier I could have won, but I got it too late...
• "It's time for earth-shattering graboids" now against a ... with 3 types of pillars I had to choose what to quake... and precog helped me to choose to slow his 2 devonians long enough so that I could play an eternity and rewind them.
• I tried my deck once again, and this time against a deck. With a quick burst of deja vus, I ended with 6 creatures and 1 empathic bond before he could nuke my pillars. Now it was a slow fight against his two shirekers, but I rewound one and he burrowed the second one. In the end I played another bond and a silurian and finished him... Co-Co-Co-Combo Breaker!

ARRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!! I was SO CLOSE! --- Do player disconnects count as a loss? Because if it did... 

But fantastic game Xinef! I was doing my best to prepare (I don't buy cards often... so a lot of the pillars and monsters that you faced against were all bought at last minute after checking your decks  ), but in the end, I kind of wish I figured out which strategies would be most successful (see  scarab combo) rather than being innovative ( combos... T_T).

The idea was that I wanted to make use of the Hope Shield from  , but I didn't want to have 4 different pillars to rely on, so I decided to go with Firefly Queens to generate them - I was just about to enter the battle with everything, UNTIL I realized that FFQ required  quanta, which kind of irritated me. I decided at last minute to throw some Emerald Pillars in there to give the FFQs the ability to produce the fireflies (which in turn, would boost up the power of the indestructible Hope Shield), as well as a couple of Luciferins to give light-producing passives to the Deja Vus and Dragons later on. Not to mention, the light produced would be useful for the Sundials...

But obviously that failed. T_T
