Phase 1 - Vote for the person who would make the best Master

Aha, now here's where we vote; I've been looking for this 

Firstly, my name is not Hobnoob, just to clarify

Secondly, why would I make a good master of Light? Well xdude is obviously a very capable master of Light, and the posts he makes regarding the element are very passionate (so to speak.) He advertises the element a lot. However, I believe I can take things to a new level. Relatively speaking, I am new to the forums, but in my short time here, I have amassed over 100 posts. This pales in comparison to others, but taking into account my rather short time span here, I (personally) believe it it impressive. My eagerness towards the forums shows that I am evidently active on there. I spend a lot of time commenting, giving people my advice, and generally trying to be a welcoming person. I am willing to spend time writing posts to help newbies out, even if they are persistently irritating. Because of this, I believe that I would be able to get the message of Light out to many other people. All those people who think light is "weak" and "underpowered" can be proven wrong by me. I am also a determined person: if I get given a job, I will try my best to stick to it and complete it to the best of my ability. If I don't, I get the feeling I have let people down, and in a thriving community like this, it is all the more important to work hard on it.
Being Master of Light will mean a lot to me. I will gain respect from the community if I were to succeed, and it would make my views more recognised than just a normal person who have an opinion. It will also make me feel accepted in the community, rather than just one of those people who sometimes posts.
What is light to me? Well technically light is just a visible part of the electromagnetic spectrum, travelling in photons. But it can mean more. Light can illuminate darkness, and make new areas clearer. Light can bring happiness, and me, being a general happy person, like that.
I understand that you all have different views. Many people will think I'm crazy, but rather than take on the more experienced person, perhaps you should vote for change?

Change is good, usually. However, I don't really like how you say, "don't vote for the experienced (vote for the new guy!)". No offense, but things don't work this way on the forums. You say you can take Light to a whole new level. However, I have already done that, and this is a fact (that's for SG ). I've brought it into the last 3 elements, and I'm figthing for the 2nd (I'll most likely lose, but still, 3rd place for the so-called "weakest" element? Good enough, huh?). Also, don't forget what elements I've defeated. Darkness, one of the best elements and Death, with it's awesome Alfatoxin which can fill a board before Light can get the strong but expensive Light Dragons on the table and Bone Wall which can stop 1-2 dragons for up to 4 turns.

 Also, kudos on the "First of all, my name is Hobnoob" thing. I loved it

Here is my question

Situtation: A new player just came to you and ask you to help them with a deck that fits there playing style. be it mono duo or what ever

Q: How would you go about helping them out?

I'll find out their style and either
1) Show them a nice deck with the same concept in the Forums
OR, if there isn't any
2) Help them improve the idea by:

a) balancing the creature/pillars ratio
b) thinning the deck
c) adding/replacing some new cards.

Also, in the end, I'd be sure to show them the awesome thing called "Elements Forum"

I never intended to say to vote for the new guy, rather than for the experienced. I already agreed that you were an excellent master, and to get light into the last 3 is an exceptional feat. I was simply putting forward reasons to vote for me. If people vote for you, then they are making a wise decision.
As for taking light to a whole new level, I never said you didn't either. I was saying that I could take it further. Designing new awesome cards for the element. Reading and updating the light section frequently so that the latest ideas can be read by me and the rest of the community. Participating in lengthy discussions about the element

Answering baku's question.

I already help a lot of people out on Kongregate, as I have a high score compared to most people on that site. To help out the person, I would review their deck, and suggest changes to them. I wouldn't force upon the opinion, I would just point out a possible flaw, or place for improvement. If there is 60 cards in a Shrieker rush, then we most likely have a problem. Same goes for decks with about 7 types of pillars (unless it is a nymphs tears deck) If there is a similar working deck on the forums, then I would point that out to them, giving the deck author credit of course
