Zso, how does it feel to be both first and last in your attempt to be Master of Light?

It is very weird. I cannot understand why anybody would not want to be the Master of Light. 
When I signed up to trial for Light, the very best element, I expected to see a lot of contenders and I was afraid my post count and score might not be enough to make it into the top-4.

As the sign-up period ended and it was only me and regen, I was suspecting some kind of conspiracy. When regen resigned, I was sure of it...

The very limited creature control ability in-element, i.e. Holy Light against death and darkness creatures only. Light should have a more general ability to teach all shadow-dwellers the power of the Light. New card(s) should be added for that purpose, e.g. flash-bang grenade as a soft-CC that incapacitates all opponent creatures for a turn (they do not attack and cannot use abilities).

Well, light is absolutely essential for vision, without light all creatures would be blind forever. So, I think the statement is rather inaccurate. It refers to the fact that excessive amount of light entering our retina causes our sensors to "overload". Just like most chemicals (e.g. medicine) become poisonous in large quantities, balance is essential.

You need to embrace light as it is the source of all life, but you need to restrain your-self at the same time -- if you are too attracted to the light you can end up like the little bugs that fly straight into the light bulb and get burned.

Light is an essential ingredient in many aspect of our lives. Without light you wouldn't even be able to read these words on your screen  But for Light to show its true meaning, you need contrast, some shades, other colors. It is the same in Elements the Game too, you get the best decks when you combine Light with other elements.

No, I don't hate darkness -- in fact it perfectly complements Light, like yin and yang. Not only in the abstract sense, but also in Elements deck design. They can make some powerful combo, such as Vader-Sader or Golden-Shadow.

I take the opportunity of your question to describe my journey how I found my home in the Light. 

My starter deck was  and I was using mostly fire decks during my early learning curve against the AI. Then I moved onto rainbows and been enjoying supernova speed-bows for a while. Then in War 5 I got recruited in team  where we met and had lots of fun. It was a great run to the 2nd place and I learned a lot about PVP and deck-building. Earlier this year I ventured into the weekly tournaments and had a good streak of 5-weeks being in the finals. For War 6 mesa recruited me for Team  That is where I realized the often overlooked potential of this element. The way mesa was running the team gave us a lot more freedom to exercise our creativity in deck building than in my previous War experience. We were doing quite well in the first half, but then we had a few devastating rounds where all our opponents perfectly mindgated us. Even though we ended up 8th, my love for the element was established. Then Guilds started up, I applied for Light, mesa did not join so we had no predetermined Commander and I got elected. In the first GvG tournament we managed to beat  twice with our mono  decks which made me proud. When Trials came around, I jumped right in to make a run for the title.

So, this is the story of my Elements carrier so far.
