Part 2: Strategy Tips

My chosen cards: Giant Frog, Empathic Bond, Rustler.

Empathic Bond
Empathic Bond is a great card, which works well in a variety of decks.  For every creature on your side of the playing field, you are given +1 point of healing.  The card is a permanent, and it does not have a limited lifespan.  Multiple Empathic Bonds work independently (cards do not stack, but the ability does), which means that you could have up to +6 healing per creature, per turn!  All in all, this is a very powerful and impressive card.
Empathic Bond works great with creature spam decks.  Some highly compatible cards include Firefly Queen, Boneyard, and Pharoah, as these cards all have the capability of producing high quantities of creatures.  One great deck to use with this card is the Firefly Queen Deck (http://"http://elementswiki.co.cc/decks/streamlined-firefly-queen-deck/") and all of it's variants.  The Firefly Queen deck works well with this card because of the high volume of creatures involved, and because Air and Life are two very synergistic and compatible elements.

Empathic Bond is also a very important part of most basic Rainbow Decks (http://"http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,1615.html").  Because most standard rainbow decks depend on a large amount of creatures (typically through Firefly Queen and Boneyard), Empathic Bond makes a great addition.  If your deck does not contain a large amount of creatures, however, you will be better off using the Heal card, a spell card which gives up to +20 healing per use [max. 6].
Quick Tips
  • Heals +1 per creature, even if creatures are frozen, petrified, or blocked.
  • Empathic bond is not affected by Adrenaline.
  • This card is best used in decks focusing on creature spam.

Rustler
The Rustler opens up many windows of opportunity for Life-Light synergy.  It can serve many purposes, from being a simple way to balance extra quanta, to being the absolute lynchpin of a deck.  Rustlers work by giving 2 life quanta per 1 light quanta.  You may use this ability more than once every turn, which is particularly important for this card.
Rustlers are a great way to quickly gain a lot of life quanta.  They work quite nicely with unupgraded Fireflies, as fireflies produce light quanta which can be turned back into life quanta by the Rustlers.  One excellent example of this is a basic variation on the Firefly Queen Deck (http://elementswiki.co.cc/decks/ffq-orthodox/).  Sadly, with only 1 HP, obviously the Rustler is fairly weak.  However, the upgraded version (the Leaf Dragon), has a total of 3 HP.  Though this +2 HP may not seem like much, it certainly makes a difference.  With the addition of Blessing, Leaf Dragons and Rustlers become much more stable.

The Rustler also works well in combination with Miracle.  Because Miracle requires a lot of quanta quickly, you may often find yourself with much more light quanta then you actually need.  All of this excess quanta will typically go to waste, as Miracle consumes all leftover light quanta after played.  The addition of a Rustler will end this dilemma, by turning your extra light quanta into life quanta, which can then be used to quickly turn out dragons, adrenalined frogs, etc.
Quick Tips
  • Rustler's ability can be used more than once per turn.
  • Because of this, there is typically no need to have more than one Rustler in play at a time.
  • One excellent way to boost the Rustler's stats is with Blessing.

Horned Frog
The Horned Frog plays it's part as one of the basic low-cost high damage dealers within the life element.  At first glance, it may seem overshadowed and made obsolete by the slightly more impressive cockatrice, but further investigation shows that this is not the case.
Combined with Adrenaline, Horned Frogs are quite deadly.  Seldom should a Frog go without Adrenaline, as it will essentially turn the frog into a dragon for half the usual quanta cost.  With Adrenaline, the Horned Frog causes more damage than the Emerald Dragon, for only 5-6 quanta, while the Emerald Dragon costs 10.  However, Adrenaline also gives the Horned Frog notable weaknesses.  Because it causes the Frog to attack multiple times per turn, it can be absolutely destroyed by Fire Shield, Thorn Carapace, and Poison.  Because of it's low HP, it is also a very frail creature, and is highly susceptible to Rain of Fire.

Horned Frog is the central point of many good Life Rush (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5953.0.html) decks.  Because Frog plus Adrenaline is a very quick, cheap, and powerful combination, it is ideal for a mono life rush deck.  Horned Frog also works well in a mono life deck with Emerald Dragons.  The Dragons are able to take the place of Adrenalined Horned Frog when faced with high amounts of creature control.  Though they deal less damage and cost a bit more, they are decent substitutes for Adrenalined Horned Frogs when need be.   Fractal is also an excellent card to use with Horned Frogs, because of their cheap cost.  Fractal + Horned Frogs can prove to be quite deadly, especially when Adrenaline is kept in the mix.
Quick Tips
  • You should never upgrade a Horned Frog, if you wish to use it with Adrenaline.
  • Horned Frog is a basic damage dealer, which means it has no ability.

Part two.
My choices: Adrenaline, Druidic Staff, Thorn Carapace.

P.S: Pepokish, you took my giant frog! I should have responded faster I guess.

Strategy Tips:
Adrenaline: one of the highlight of the life element. This card can make a creature act many times a turn depends on its attack. Adrenaline works best with creature that has three attack(gains 3 more acts, attack stays the same for all 4 attacks). In the life element, that's the horned frog. It could also make the druidic staff heal 20 damage after its flew into the field. This card can also make enemy creatures die faster when used in conjunction with the thorn carapace. This deck is widely used in life rush decks which spams many small creatures suitable to be adrenalined. Tips: When the attack is the same, try using it on creature with more health for durability. Use it on fire flies and you will get 4 light gain each turn, quick quanta generation.

Druidic Staff:
A weapon that fits quite well in the theme of life. This weapon does low to medium damage depending on whether it's upgraded and heals you for 5 hp every turn. This weapon works well with adrenaline after it's flew into the field, which means it works well with flying weapon also. Combined with an emerald shield, this weapon can out help stall for quite sometime if the enemy is not too aggressive. This weapon mostly appears in life decks that focuses on EM rather than quick games, it's also appears in flying druidic staff decks which centers on this card. Tips: only take one unless you are using flying druidic staff deck, when using flying druidic deck against a permanent control heavy opponent, only play a staff when you can fly it.

Thorn Carapace:
The newest shield in the life element, considered by many to be overpowered. This shield has finally granted life the long awaited creature control. This shield can get rid of enemy creatures very swiftly when adrenaline is used on the enemy creature. This shield needs some healing like empathic bond and druidic staff to complement it since its cost will hinder your offence while you are taking a lot of damage to kill the enemy's creatures. This card appears mostly in EM life deck. Tips: use adrenaline to get rid of entities like otyughs and dragons quickly with this shield. If this shield come in late game, you most likely won't be able to take much advantage of it and you should probably conserve the quanta to play other cards if quanta is not very plenty since you can't afford to take the damage to kill their creatures and your best bet is to play other cards to kill your enemy faster.

You only get 5 points for your decks.  I believe you currently have 11 points (5 for decks, 6 for PVP).
You need to post your strategy tips in this thread in order to get a total of 10 points for Phase 2.

Jade dragon: OK this is the strongest card, thats awesome right off the bat, because its attack is so high and its hp is the highest of all the dragons *other then gravity it is one of the most needed cards in a deck unless its going to be a rush deck you almost need this dragon.
Quick tips: most AIs will target this before anything. biggest of all life creatures. adrenaline is 16 attack.

Heal: this card is normally gets over shadowed by the empbods but this card can save you or give you EM, its really only effective in monolife because emp bond can continually heal you while this heals you for 20 hp for only 2-1 life.
Quick tips: gets past reflective shield. now 20 hp instead of 10hp. great for last minute heals.

cockatrices: while its cheap cost allows a first turn play unfortunatly when unupgraded it only deals 9 damage while upped allow for 11 *when adrenaline* its actually a very nice card to play on the first turn because they need to waste 3-2 bolts leaveing room for adrenaline frog rush. Its probably one of the cheapest cards for the stats.
Quick Tips: low cost makes it good for rush. very good at surviving things.

ill be updating after school

Style doesn't matter since it's going to change anyways when I copy-paste everything to Wiki.

Time to edit. :( Style is the most important thing in the world, but perhaps consistency trumps it in this scenario.
