In your opinion, who would be the best Master of this element?

Take these things into consideration:
  • Who would be the best representative for this particular element?
  • Who helps new players and community members?
  • Who is active on the forums?
  • Who writes good quality posts on the forums?
  • Who do you think could take this element to "the next level"?

Question for the two competitors:

What is your vision of Gravity? How do you think Gravity can beat any other element?

I'm not nearly the veteran that Jumba is, but I'm around a good bit more than he as far as I can tell.  I am friendly, available, and contribute.  I participate in the contests when I can, and plan on earning my way into having several cards in the Armory when I can.  I am often in chat, and enjoy being the resident encyclopedia when I can.  I possess both analytical and creative abilities, useful in creating both cards and decks.

Gravity is an awesome element.  It possesses the mighty Otyugh, a staple creature in many decks, the scourge of Rainbows and healing spell known as Black Hole, and Momentum and momentum based creatures.  Shields?  We don't care 'bout your stinkin' shields!  Its creatures have high HP and good damage, a premier example being Titan when flown.  And this is not even mentioning Gravity Pull, a card and ability used for both offense and defense.  It is a well balanced element that's tough to beat.  Ve vill CRUSH you!

My vision for Gravity is to be a strong offensive element, while retaining the bulky health that Gravity is known for.  While not being a glass cannon like Fire, it should retain its current balance of offense and defense.  Possible ways for it to growth is to flex its gravitational pull with power reducing permanents to non gravity elements, or perhaps a spell that converts a creature's attack back down into HP to bring it back into equilibrium.

Vote for this fox, and we'll find some clever ways to crush the other elements underfoot.

Glass Cannon is a role filled in many games, not a diss.  It refers to those who go all offense, little defense, like Mages in many games.  It is synonymous with "Squishy Wizard".  It is effective and great for blitzing, but I personally prefer a more balanced approach.

As a very nooby player I have no idea about the cards at all.
However, I followed the very first link I can click ingame to get some help and found the "card-list" on the wiki.
I also read some forum-posts on how to build a FG-deck and went grinding lvl3 for FOUR WEEKS to finally afford my first upgrade. Unfortunately, the so called "majorly important" card was not correctly described on the wiki thus wrecking MY WHOLE FG-deck!
I am furious at the current master for not having done his job well.

To my point of view, a "Master" should be active and be ready to oppose/change/correct etc. any post or topic in the forum. He should also be able to help people around. And to this, my vote goes to PhantomFox.

NOTE: I am not critisizing the master for not being active because of any reason (or so I think) or forcing anyone to vote for Phantom. This is just my opinion.

I agree wholeheartedly and I do apologise for not being active (I'll still be really busy for half a week). Other than my recent and still current inabilities to be active, I believe I am still a good candidate for the Master role because I do help people out and I do write good quality posts.

I would not say that I have a real vision for Gravity as an element. Its current theme of, what I like to call, unconventional offence and defence is unique and should be retained. Unconventional because gravity is all about doing things unconventionally. We have Momentum to go past shields, we have creatures that can act as meat-shields, and we have a shield that hurts having bigger creatures more than it does smaller creatures.

Being unconventional is what I like to be and that's how I'd like Gravity to be.

Just for fun, I decided Gravity should have a motto or battle cry or something.  So without further ado...

Gravity: WE WILL CRUSH YOU!

Most effective when read in a thick Russian accent.  Like - Gravity: VE VILL CRUSH YOU!  LIKE LEETLE BUG!! BWAHAHAHA!  Cry some more."

Okay, I'm having too much fun with that.

Congratulations PhantomFox. I personally didn't expect to get such a proportion of the votes considering my inactivity so I am gladly surprised by the support.
