Sorry I didn't get here earlier I was busy the last couple days.  Today was the last game of the regular season for my floor hockey league, and we won which means our team finished first overall in the standings.  A vote for plastiqe is a vote for a proven winner.  Also I just got done updated the Elements pvp league (a thankless task but somebodys gotta do it).  I'm 2nd overall in the beginners league, so once again.. proven winner.  Also, did you know that both Antagon and Kamietsu hate babies?  It's true, I once saw them punch a baby in the face.*

You are correct. I have Zero Arsons on my criminal record, because the master of fire doesn't get caught ^_~
And of course I drink watch and vote for water cards, I have to know my mortal enemy inside and out after all.

Babies have very low attack and defense (0/0), no useful skills and a very high casting cost.
As such, they wouldn't even be good for cremation.
So I can fully understand if a master of fire (to be) actually hates babies.


I would like to throw in an ingame-related question/task:

Fahrenheit is supposed to be the weapon of choice for fire-elementals.
Yet it is often not even used in fire-decks or classified as a fun addition that could probably be switched for another pillar or something else.
How come this awesome looking weapon doesn't seem to live up to the expectation?
Briefly discuss Fahrenheits position in the overall game-environment.
Maybe show a deck that makes best possible use of Fahrenheit.

I dont like answering opinion based questions, but I really like Fahrenheit so...

I use a Fahrenheit in all of my fire decks (mostly) because it adds a serious punch for low cost. Especially in Fire Bolt/Lance and Golem decks, since both of those use very little fire quanta, and focus more of saving it up. So as your fire goes up, so does Fahrenheit's attack, which is a unique feature no other card has. Excluding the Bolt cards, but those are one time uses as Fahrenheit stays until removed by an outside force.

I guess people overlook it or just exclude it altogether to try and make room for a better card to help the deck, but in reality, just adding this card could be the different between a win and a loss.

there are lots of decks, using not that many pillars/towers (golem deck variants most of the time) which use no permanents or arsenic/stiletto for faster dmg/heal

the "problem" with fahrenheit is also, that it doesnt have a destruction/active ability like other weapons (eagles eye, pulverizer, trident, eternety), it is often the "only" permanent in deck, so major target for deflag/steal/pulverizer and the real strenght is used in heavy firequantum based decks, which are destroyed by often played shrieker rushes. also you use only a few or no creatures in such decks (fire spirits are not good with fh for example), which means a bonewall counters fahrenheit.

i still like fh in decks, when im exspecting opponent not to play shriekers, so 2nd or 3rd round, my decks are currently

And my 1st deck was all Fire and had Fahrenheit.  You can read about the success I had with it on the 4th post I ever made on the forums way back when.  The record is clear, plastiqe supports Fire.

This is pretty difficult for me. Fire is my favourite element. Kamietsu is one of my favourite posters, with both helpful and funny comments throughout the forum. Antagon really is on chat for incredible lenghts of time and is a nice guy/superb player to boot. Plastiqe I don't know quiet as well but thats not for his/her want of posting. At over 2 a day thats pretty good and indicates an active member. Currently I'm leaning towards Kamiestu because no matter how long you spend on chat there are still some members of the community you miss on account of the time difference. The forum is available to all players at all times and is, for me, the deciding factor of this vote.

From what I can tell, this poll was one of the more 'balanced' competitions - it seems like even though Kami had the majority, that Antagon and plastiqe had a good amount of supporters. Either way, congrats to those who expressed themselves, and keep on going! ^_^
