{{{A question @Scaredgirl: Why did you start this thread? I think it's very unfair to make this thread because Kamietsu is an active member who is cool and makes various posts and helps a lot of people. Why did you open a thread like this? I don't want to say anything against ------ but shouldn't a thread like this just be opened if the other ones don't do their job?}}}
dekskose - I had to edit your post in the quote above, because I had an hard time understanding what you were trying to say.
How is this
unfair? If anything, providing a poll, some discussion about the candidates, and asking questions is probably the most fairest thing to do for this first phase of the trials. It's something fun to be a part of!
EVERY master is going to face one prominent challenger every 2 months, as an interactive competition between potential members and long-standing members of the community. In a way, this provides masters to truly be at the top of the game, or face removal by someone who is potentially much more capable (even if their post count, deck-building skills, OR personality says otherwise). She started a thread/poll on these forums to provide insight on what people want for a master of the corresponding element, and if people want someone new and fresh to take up the task, they'll vote for that person. Otherwise, the master will have less to worry about (or more, depending on the duties they'll have to take up later on).
I think if a master isn't doing their job, then it would be obvious for all of the masters (in their secret forum
) to discuss the person at hand for failing to fulfill their responsibilities. Otherwise, the masters are doing what they need to do - mastering their element, providing or using their decks in competitions for personal and community benefit, and helping people whenever they can in-game or on the forums.
@Antagon: Thanks again for answering my post.
Granted, now I wish I had a more philosophical question associated with this element...
