first of all, let me make my introduction. When I first started elements, I am not active in forum yet until around 8 months later. Then I decided to get active in forum, and join the first event in that is available, the budokan. I am a fan of fire element, and took fire element in budokan. My opponent is napalm and youngsot that time, exgrandmaster and the current fire master that time. Winning the match against them with the help of my budokan mates,and being the fire champion gives me the morale to continue in forums, and I took war with youngsot in war 5. And soon, I join fire trial myself and earn myself a title. It is an honor being the general for war 6, and being the leader of fire guild( I am still the leader lol even after a year), and also become the leader of fire team for brawl 2.  And although I lost war, I won the brawl event.

After the last trial, I become inactive for a year due to life issue. I came back because I remember elements, and I play an app called tower of saviors, ( I think it is called war of dragons in western), and of course I choose fire based creatures. even my guild in tower of saviors called me a fire freak 
With that , memories of the forum return, and I am back. I came back online few hours before the tournament, and to my surprise I am lucky enough to win a tournament. And upon joining this trial, I was very concerned that I will lose all my match at first, since I have been away without pvp for a year. To my surprise I scored the most point for 1st phase and also score the most point for phase 2.

Last trial, i got burned out and I regretted the decision of playing irresponsibily, but the loss turns out a blessing in disguise. And now I am back, and despite having a lot less time compare the day I join elements, I took the effort to do things properly. I have done my part in phase 1 and 2, but it is all up to you to decide whether I deserve the points in phase 3. Although I am in the lead, I still need all your support in phase 3 and I promise I will try my best for phase 4.

since I am in eastern time zone, it is hard for me to be active in the chat during the western time zone, and when I came to chat in the afternoon, the chat is dead lol. But I am always online in forum, since i can access it in my phone. Please ask me all the questions and I will try to answer as soon as possible to make up for it

(I am stlll a student in my final year,but yeah I know how hard it is when someone got fired, I believe the feeling will be like losing part of yourself. I have seen therapy for people who loss their job and do not know what to do with their lives. Honestly, I hope it will never happen to me. Although the above video is a joke, I wish my boss will not do that to me when that happens, but approach the topic as tactful as possible just as I would should I ever encounter such a difficult situation. I do not go to disco usually. I am still a student,and in my area, disco is not somewhere I can go that freely. If I were to be in a disco, I think I most likely will just be sitting there. I don't exactly have the guts to go to the dancing floor or anything haha.

However, don't get me wrong. I really like music. And I really enjoy seeing people dancing. But I on the other hand do not have a powerful voice, neither do I have really good dancing feet. But if all my friends are going to disco to have fun, I would go. So disco or no disco? I say yes

I cannot believe it work, it is basically just like a rol hope deck, but with slightly more damage. This is very weird trio, but it has a 50% winrate. might be the most creative, but lacking in winrate

in the ban list you give me, actually this is also a creative mono fire deck, it loses in power a bit for typical monofire, but definitely has a much higher winrate than the above deck. this deck will prioritize winrate. does this count as creative in the first place though?

you gave a very specific rules regarding the shards, which make me wondering are you looking for a shards deck. I will recommend this one, with the lacking of players these days, it is hard to even find a match in pvp1, but it work. I have around 70% winrate in this, the obvious weakness will be the creature control, as you can see in 1 of the screenshot where I lose since I did not draw explosion,and he had lobo before i can get my sof. the shard of patience really helps at times for more hp. You can change the fire nymph to phoenix for faster damage and more survival. but in my opinion, fire nymph is still better in my opinion., though phoenix can be used. Just a note, creature control is your bane. If pvp1 is full of those players, don try this deck at the moment lol.

From my distant observation there was much drama in Fire's matchs. They took awhile to complete. Nobody seemed to come off as very pleasent

In short: you all seemed to be jerks a bit

Thus: Are you a jerk? If yes, how will you make that not negatively impact your role as general? If no, what's with the jerky Phase 2?

I have 4 matches in phase 2, and my matches with hainkarga, Regyptic and Vangelios is pleasant. We do not stumble upon any trouble at all.

My match with ji412jo is unfortunate because while we were playing, a friend in trouble came, and we have to hold off the match, and I have to let things settle a little before continuing. Not to mention a lightning strikes my university later and shut off the server. Imagine moving from my room to another room, console the buddy, move back to my room, chill down a little, continue my match,  then BAM lightning strikes 2 matches later, frantically switch on my phone wireless and get on chat since I could not use the uni server. Everything happen in that particular one match.

Thus, am I a jerk? No. It was the first and the last, the rest of my matches went on smoothly and I enjoy them.

I always try to be friendly during matches, and most of the time I will chat with my opponent while playing. This is the first time it happens like this. It was just a black dot in a white cloth. I think I deserve better if I have been misunderstood somehow because it is not my fault. Sometimes, s*@# happens, but rarely. If u happen to be there, then I guess I can only apologise. But rest assured, none of the fire trialists are jerks

That is the first thing that comes to my mind,all lectures should have been like that. If University of Lincon does provide that,I am interested 

This is what always happen here in my university. 3 one-hour lectures sometimes 4 straight marathon in the morning,especially during the first years.
I think explaining in as many words is not that interesting, visuals are better. This scene is pretty common sight.


But you need skills for that, lecturers are going to leave if you do that obviously, so you can see how students try desperately to keep awake , but still fail


The reason mainly because we have to listen all the way without even daring to answer back. A one way communication sure fail. But sometimes, lecturer in their pathetic effort to make the student alert, they ask question, yet they do not exactly accept creativity in the answers, and students hold back their answer, and wait for best student to give theirs. @glennfoo: What were the biggest mistakes you did during your last war and how did you learn from them? IIRC fire wasn't that much sucessful. Correct me if I am wrong.

Voted for hainkarga here, cause he is simply the best and smartest war player I have ever seen. I think he always had an unofficial role as General.

Wow, I like you. You were being straightforward without going round the bush. Nope you were not wrong. My first mistake is during the auction. There are a few players I have in mind, so I bid them on high price, and makes smaller bids on newer players. What happens is the other general did the same thing,and I lost the bet. What is worst is that i am not 10men who tanks the whole team, and bid 1 for all players. So I rebid, on other players, and the cycle continues. But on the last 2 day of auction, I only manage to turn up for the bid at last minute, and in the end, goes to extra time, have  to bid even higher, and landed with an expensive team with new players than I originally had in mind.

Second is mindgate. There were matchups I mindgate correctly, but there were some that it does not. I will say my approach is wrong, but I cannot elaborate further on that, and results need to speak for themselves. I will make sure I have the time required if I were to lead the team again. And talking about that, I plan to change the way I have been playing out  my games.

I will not go round the bush as well, so I will be bold enough to ask you to reconsider. hainkarga of course has more experience in war than me, and he being in the champion team gives him a good reputation. But this is  trial we are talking about. I have more experience than him in playing with  , and I have played games with him, and saw his choice of upgrades. Do not get me wrong, he is a good player, if I am in aether trial or some other trial other than fire,I will agree with you. But in all my matches, his is the easiest. A monofire fundamentally needed strong damage, 3 minor phoenix is not a good idea. It was much easier beating his steam machine with my stall, than mine with vangelios steam machine. i know the weakness of steam machine deck in phase 2, and i almost beat vangelios as well, had I allowed spells upgrade. Simulators i have in my third match have me at 70% winrate ( air against his earth) though I loss the match. Hainkarga is definitely a very good player with a lot of exp, but if he were to lead, he needed much more effort than what he had provided for team aether. perhaps his mindgate will be better than me, I dunno,hard to say. But he is switching between aether to fire, but I like the idea of him saying he will make sure he is checking all the archives.

If hainkarga were to get to the finals, I will make sure I do not repeat the same mistake I have with inthisroom, and will go all out in beating him so that he is not leading at the moment, unless proven otherwise. The reason I will lose to hain is being outmindgated at the moment, because I have seen all his 4 decks.  Between hainkarga and vangelios, if I were you, I will consider vangelios more. He has more experience in fire than darkness in the first place. With that said, of course between vangelios and me, I hope you vote me lol     

If hainkarga read this( I am sure he will soon), please do not be angry, I am only thinking what is best for  , and I do acknowledge your skills. In fact I actually like you hainkarga. As for me,  I myself has so much room for improvement myself, added with a year of absence. I know I did poorly myself. To Odii, I will request for you to reconsider your vote to hainkarga, for the future of  .

To all: Why fire has lost its old glory? Is it the popular Immo nerf, is it luck, bad leadership? What are you going to do to fix that?

Fire did not lose its glory, you will still dread fighting bonebolt, monofire ,fractix, and the popular firestall. Fire receive a nerf to immo is sad , because we no longer are able to release phoenix in 1st turn. not to mention its ash are even easier to kill now. and we need much more firebolts to otk 100 hp with the quanta cap as well.

I did not know what happen last war, but I will speak for myself during war 6 . Real life is my worst enemy, and my decision in auction and some matchup literally kills it. Luck is also a factor, because we lost a lot 2-3 in best of five. As a player, I have really improved, but as a general I am new, so I still have much to learn myself. I do not think I am a bad leader, since I am there when my players are playing and I give them a lot of moral support

this is one of those matchups where had I not be there, the results will have been a loss to fire, where we are supposed to cruise it in the first place.

What am I going to do to fix that? MINDGATE better, and improve VAULT BUILDING. Nothing wrong with fire, I cannot complain when other elements need buff. but I don't think aether should have received the psions this early. When other elements need it much more. Seraph did nothing to fire, most fire creatures if not were already doing what seraph can do. So again for me, MINDGATE better, and improve VAULT building. Fire lost its glory because of me being new, and with my own conflict to real life. And I of course wanted to be given the chance to lead again. Otherwise I will rethink my decision. I hope my answer satisfy you dark ripper.

Considering I'd like to see Fire at a consistent second place after Aether in War, this vote is easy for me. There are only two people I know that work as hard as me in War and can mindgate on a similar level, and one of them is here.

That said, I'm still curious. To all participants:
Why did you join the Trials of Fire?

What personal meaning does Fire as an element have to you?

Then he need to work even harder. After playing with him, and seeing vangelios matchup with him, he need to work even harder. His mindgate might be good, since he had more experience, and I wont dare to say I will mindgate your favourites better.

But the decks he show me proved otherwise with his choice of card, and also against vangelios.  I agree they are good ideas though.  I respect anyone's choice, especially you, since you are even more senior than me. But I am thinking for the future of  myself here, and even after a year of absence, I still can see potential of other players, especially players who are playing the same element than me, because I know my faults. Fire has lost its glory and I hope your choice is right. "" A player familiar with  will not perform equally well when asked to play  . he could have speedbuilt  deck and optimise it, but will just try mindgate his opponent and copy pasted a  deck for the same efficiencty'' I am not saying it is this case, just trying to explain my point.


Why would I join fire trials?
pretty obvious. I do not want to end up in any other war team than fire. I do not expect to do well after a year, but I am still doing ok, so I might try to lead again. Secondly, me being so stubborn to be in  is because I will turn up cheap for my fire team, since I will strongly discourage any other generals from other element. I will instantly accept the highest bid from team fire if it ended up reaching that point,unless the current general does not require me. I will think a lot for the best of  , whether I will be able to lead or not. And partly because I do not want similar mistakes made with+ by+against inthisroom.

Fire? Passion. That is the strongest meaning to me, and I am applying to my real life issues at the moment, since I kinda lack passion and ambition at the current issue. Fire is also leadership, and it also means protection to me since it has warmth and destructive forces. Talking about destruction wise, I need to remember to always strike a balance in everything I do. Small fire is not enough, and too big a fire is destructive. Being unable to strike a balance will only mean downfall to yourself.

topple aether? Why not?  is strong. I felt like I am going to repeat the same thing again by answering your question Laxadarap, since I kinda answer your question in my response to Odii Odsen and Higurashi. However, I am sure you notice I have been away for a year, but yet nothing much has changed in elements, only some community members. In the first place I thought I will be left out, but I am still scoring the most points in phase  1 and phase 2. However leading in war means more, and I know I need to improve my mindgate and vault building skills. But I have experience in it once, and I can improve. Not everybody excels at something new the first time, and I admit I am not exactly a fast learner, so I am still learning. But I am holding my ground in trials, and I will be glad to lead again the second time. Of course, there is always room to improve in pvp also. I cannot promise anything without results, but I will think for the benefit of  and what is best for it.  Does that answer your question or did I interpret in wrong somehow?

Do you think using blue nymphs, unstable gases, and/or elite fireflies in war decks would help fire do better, or would it be a waste of vault space?  I can't recall seeing fire try this strategy before.

 I have considered using unstable gas. During war 5( as a participant) and war 6( as general) , there is not much room for it, since we are using much more other element. there are a lot of important cards to fill, and in the end unstable gas was left out. But if I were to lead I will really consider it, since I plan to change my approach.
 blue nymph naturally is even better than unstable gas alone, but the problem is having players with enough blue nymphs to fill it. Not all people has the blessing from the oracle to be flooded with nymphs, let alone blue nymphs. I need to consider how many people will be able to play with the deck too that has blue nymph in it.

Elite firefly is not one of them. the first problem is it needs to be upgraded, so not that practical. secondly it is not exactly a powerful creature, with it only able to generate fire quanta. i think air will benefit more with elite fireflies, but not fire.

Things on fire? Check.

card games that relate to elements will almost every single time include fire. When I first saw your question, the first card game I thought of is the famous poker card games

There were some card games like ali baba and the 40 thieves, the donkey and a lot more. Those games are meant for children

So I went to search for a more competitive games, games that really require us to think. And I remember this one game that I play, Shadow era.
Shadow era is a multiplayer card game where you can play either as a human or shadow heroes. This game is pretty new, at the moment only a few heroes are available for each human or shadow heroes( warrior, hunter,mage, priest, rogue, elementalist, wolves) . There were not much significant fire elements inside, except the mage who has 1 fire spell cards. You can really try this game, it is really interesting.


Another card game that I also really like and having the same genre is the card game EDERON. When few years ago, while I was looking for top card games online, elementsthegame is one of them( that is I found elementsthegame) , and this card game EDERON. I actually play both elementsthegame and ederon few years ago, one which is all about elements, and the latter about classes.
There were 8 classes, and you can choose between male or female (Knight, assassin, monk, hunter, wizard, sorceress, gladiator, paladin )
few years ago, you need to play both class in a deck, but recently they have switch the gameplay as well, where you can play 1 class having more weapons and armor now They were really nice card games to try out. I recommend it

My question for Vangelios is also a question for glennfoo. Your new avatars now are very similar to each other. Since I'm mostly identifying players by their avatars, and you both changed to similar avatars at the same time, I'm having a headache every time about who's who without looking at your names. My task for both of you is to find a unique avatar that obviously resembles fire. If you want a hint how a unique avatar looks, former Master of Fire inthisroom's avatar is the best example: a door that leads to a room that is on fire.

I will answer both the questions together

My passion for fire has not died at all. Not even now. Fire meant something different for me, losing passion for it is losing part of myself
What dies 1 year ago is the passion of elementsthegame. Turns out it took a year though before I return though.

To summarise, again, taking trial, taking war, taking brawl,  becoming the guild leader( guild was very busy at that time.. almost need every hour onlining. ask other guild members, remember the crossword puzzle and the zombie killing we need to do?     After the lost to inthisroom, it hit me how burnt out I have been, and I decided to leave the forum and get my life sorted out a little.
Had I chill out a bit, things may have been different. Even a laptop needs to shut down after 1 day of using it. oh wait, when is the last time I restart my laptop?

Why did I change to normal colour, the reason is because of a friend I have, by the name of absol. some know him as lorem ipsum. Did you remember him submachine? He is the one who told me to change my colour in a private message to me in a forum. He told me about a history in chat, way before I join elements forum, that there has been a fight on who is taking what colour, and in the end, it gives him bitter memories about it. He told me he would appreciate it if I change my colour,
While I was using that colour, there were people in chat and forum as well, being indirect, they told me the colour I have been using is glaring, some even advice me on different shades of red, and after I change, someone else told me of a better colour lol. there is no issue of me using red, but there is a hassle to change colour for me. I change like 5 times lol.
In the end, I decided, i would change to the normal colour again. I start to switch to white before I left , and it has nothing to do with being less passionate, but because the community prefer it. All the community here are readers, and red pains their eyes. *** If i am a master of air, and no one complain at all about me using a colour, I wont change *** Just look at your question and my answers, which is more pleasant to your eyes and easier to read ?

Now, further misunderstand about me to clear up. My avatar is not weak. I will explain later why I choose him. I totally disagree about your idea with inthisroom avatar. The  so called "dominatrix girl" told me that his room is very dim and moody, and she told me she misses me. Just joking haha. His room is not about fiery room in the first place, that I can assure you. Nothing to do with it. It meant something else to him.

In the end, why would I need to change my avatar? This avatar is unique for me. And I have no idea how you could think my avatar is similar to vangelios. Mine is so much cooler and bad ass( no offense vangelios ) It is just not a simple art, it is a card, and a lot effort need to evolve it. Unless you play tower of saviors, you wont know how powerful this card is. 4th - the current one I am using. If I have better skills, I might have added the dominatrix girl to the avatar, and add a phoenix to it, and change the sword he is holding to my favourite card, a real farenheit.

As long as you put fire as first favourite element, I will definitely consider it. If you private message me about how you really want to be in, and as early as possible, and not halfway through auction when you feel you wont be getting into any team, then the chance you are in my team are even higher.

I can say que fire possessed unprepared players, especially in the last war. remembering that: I see fire stronger in ETG, however is very limited in war rules. Ultimately believe players who like to fire will be those who will make a good difference, does not solve hiring adventurers.

Considering I'd like to see Fire at a consistent second place after Aether in War, this vote is easy for me. There are only two people I know that work as hard as me in War and can mindgate on a similar level, and one of them is here.

 The vault discussion does not change anything, will be a team anyway, I'll just put the cards that I think are more viable, of course I will listen to all suggestions and analyze with team

 For me regardless of who will be the master I could already train and analyze with Glenn and the Hain now (assuming we are actually on the same team)

 Being an active player who really like the element, it is possible to have good things, and hight skill will never be bad.

@glennfoo: What were the biggest mistakes you did during your last war and how did you learn from them? IIRC fire wasn't that much sucessful. Correct me if I am wrong.

@Vangelios: Are you trialing because it's kind of a PvP event, because of the title or are you planning to lead team fire during the coming war? You know, I like you, but what I know is that you had problem with war rules and the whole war concept. Did you improve since last war? I mean your "war skills" and your knowledge about war.

 Also remember that I could hardly make a deck to play, and when he had opportunity was against a general, for example was symphonlife vs air team I knew that needed reflective shield (and you said you could transmutate) (hain have air nymph I said to you), but you said no reflective shield . And the deck would be legal because it would be at least 50% darkness. then I lost of 3-1
 My war skills, well in darkness was very very less, but in my first war with fire was good, Thanks again Glenn for allowing me play with my predictions and cards.
 
How to improve? I can improve and I'll improve, either as a master or soldier,

Do you think using blue nymphs, unstable gases, and/or elite fireflies in war decks would help fire do better, or would it be a waste of vault space?  I can't recall seeing fire try this strategy before.

I think so, UG and air Nymph are good cards with fire, but elite firefly is bad choice, because we can not use many upgraded in war. and especially because have better decks duos to uses with UG concept, good decks are; massive CC and UG to finishing or rush immo Golems UG, in case vs discords or stall decks. with 3 air nymphs upped a good deck is possible to make.
however 3 uppeds air nymphs are.... super hyper rare.

My question for Vangelios is also a question for glennfoo. Your new avatars now are very similar to each other. Since I'm mostly identifying players by their avatars, and you both changed to similar avatars at the same time, I'm having a headache every time about who's who without looking at your names. My task for both of you is to find a unique avatar that obviously resembles fire. If you want a hint how a unique avatar looks, former Master of Fire inthisroom's avatar is the best example: a door that leads to a room that is on fire.

Depends on the situation or rules of bids, for example in the last war application, 14 bids was common, this is very relative, if the player is active, if the player likes to fire, has skills, if I can give 3, 5, 10 or 14 bids, it is unpredictable. In your case if the master of the light have more interest on you, I probably would not intrude in contention, because you like light.

I am one of the dedicated members of the elements community who loves it and happy to be a part of. In real life, I am a software architect, a coder, an industrial engineer and a chemist (I actively do the first two).

Are you referring to Fire trial matches ? If so, i had no problem whatsoever to complete them, nor i had any sort of drama in any of my matches. And i was (have always been) more active than my all my P2 opponents, asking and insisting them first and most matches done on their schedule.

That aside, some people consider me a jerk because i have a straightforward, confrontational and passionate character who don't get submissive when i face hardships or when majority is against me. Nor will i lie to you to make you like me more. I have won several wars and played a final with this consistent attitude. I believe it didn't have any negative impact on my team since i am very loyal to my comrades and fight for our rights. It might sometimes irritate you as a warmaster tho. On the bright side i believe i am an honest and just person and will not claim anything that i don't believe i have a right to. And again, i have nothing to do with that jerky phase2 as i had a very clean one.

1) I have never obeyed any general, this is not how i roll. However, I believe i have worked with them very well and I am in very good terms with my previous generals Higurashi, Deuce, Jenkar all of which i consider friends. I don't want to sound disrespectful to Jenkar, because i really love him a lot, but I did co-lead team air last war.  I will repeat this when i complete 'Reasons why you should choose me ? ' section: I believe I am more experienced in both leading and winning WAR than both glenn and vang as well as in activity, communication and planning. Take these claims as you like it and thanks for the question.

2) Other than activity and player skill:

• Prediction: Exploring opponent vaults, predicting what an opponent team would field against other opponent teams and what those teams would predict.
• Strategy: Backbone of your WAR style which is mostly independent of your matchups. This may change slowly as the WAR progress depending on various parameters. (ie. We won a war using mostly orthodox decks once. You can favour a lot of strategies such as gambler / unpredictability / opponent driven deck/vault building / etc. etc.)
• Planning ahead: Make game theory tables of your possible strategy outcomes for the next few rounds. (i did this last war)
• Strong initial vault. Versatility in card choices, Powerful decks, Keeping different types of options (domin, rush, stall etc.)
• High team morale: It effects everything.
• Testing. Live & Trainer.
• Smart salvage & Discard.

I have never been in team fire before and i was planning to deeply investigate fire - war archives after the start of war, but i have my observations from the outside. For each war, team fire appears to have different reasons for the loss but generally speaking they have been rather predictable with some wrong deck builds against some teams. When i look at fire decks, i see a lot of "Oh let's put these cards too, you know just in case" idea behind them, ruining the very soul of the deck.
I don't know about their leadership but i noticed average strategic capabilities.

What am i going to do ?
Now i do not wish to expose my strategies here in case i become master of fire, but generally speaking; First I intend to build a team with members who have different specialities, build a versatile vault and always maintain a soul for the vault, take lessons from the past, become unpredictable (i have my ways for it) and aim straight to winning the war. I like building the vault as if i'm building an army. It needs admiral ship, cavalry, artillery, scouts, flying bombers, foot soldiers, support and logistics.

Realistically, do you think you can topple aether? Whats so new/not new this time (more important part)?

Last war toppling aether was my intention. I worked very hard for that and our team played final. The way i see it, their win was due to one very deadly mistake of mine* which i predicted but gambled anyway. Moreover, i can easily say that i am one of the top experienced players with the ways of the team aether, knowing their strengths and weaknesses against other elements, their (good) vaults, salvage preferences which is crucial in predictions.

*If you are interested, big mistake i mentioned was fielding sanc-dial deck against them a couple of rounds ago which gave them some deadly salvage.

So what is new that helps beating aether assuming i am the fire general ?

• Although this makes me sad since i'd prefer to beat him instead: Strongest war leader deuce is out of WAR. This has advantages and disadvantages. I know deuce better than [new aether general] which would help my prediction, but also deuce would still be likely the strongest aether general.
• This is very subjective of course, everyone would give very similar answer. But well: i will be in charge. This will hopefully make a difference. Truth be told, i am not a fire deck expert but i know WAR business and how to build good decks.
• I intend to build an organised team with awareness of duty instead of pooling whoever is around. I intend to have several fallback action plans against possible absences.
• I know the ways of decision making and scientific efficiency thanks to courses such as Operations Research (linear/nonlinear), Game Theory, Markov Chains. I intend to apply them to some degree

I see no problem to openly declare this:
If i lead team fire, there is no doubt you will see bnymph / UG deck(s). Everybody knows i favoured them a lot in team air and they are indeed lethal. It has been a big mistake of team fire not to have used them. They terrorised team aether for sure.
Elite fireflies on the other hand, are probably better for team air's UG deck than team fire's UG deck. I have nothing against them but didn't think of using them yet. It would be more clear after having the vault in my hands and draft some decks.

I am not switching from team aether to team fire. I am switching from team air. Back at the beginning of previous war, you could say exact same things about me about building air decks, all of which i have proven otherwise as i built air decks from start to the final match as well as managing the vault. I have proved that i have no problem whatsoever with adaptation to other elements. Also it is a fatal mistake to confuse 1v1 duels with war. It will only mislead you. A horde of tourney / league decorated players are just bad at war, some could even be worse as leaders.

Thank you for your trust in me. This means a lot to me and i will try to be worthy of your recognition. However, if i become master of fire, i intend to disappoint you and get the first place instead.

I have several reasons for joining fire trials.

• Fire is one of my favorite elements along with aether and darkness. And i felt the urge to change its fate and have fun while doing it. (ie. voiced in one of my former applications)
• I have no intention to disrespect anyone but i have been thinking fire has been poorly represented in war since a long while and this situation has been itching me. I have voiced this opinion of mine several times on chat. And i wanted to take the initiative.
• A different team in WAR. There were some other elements which i considered but I enjoy challenge and overcoming adversity.
• Fire is one of the top tier elements and i saw the potential. It has a decent, realistic shot for winning WAR

Serenity, peace, subtlety, deceit, status-quo are not my things. I am direct, confrontational, passionate, dissident, restless, uneasy.

'Anger' is not something to be frowned upon, it mirrors desire, dedication, belief. Source of all motivation comes from the fire in your heart, your body gets hot, your blood boils as you get excited. I believe destruction of the old is needed to create the new. Destruction is much more beautiful and enigmatic than the remnants of the old.

Fire illuminates its surroundings, creates energy, transforms matter, terrifies the living, makes you gaze at it in awe.

Fire purifies the corrupt, erases all memories, does not discriminate, does not yield as long as it is not forcefully cut from resources that it consumes.

That is briefly what fire means to me.

Fire is an element that just HAS to be there in any card game ever. Name a card game or RPG without any kind of fire.
Fire is as common in video games as combat mechanics.

What is in fire as an element that sets it apart from just being a bunch of flaming clichés?
Burning phoenixes? Check.
Burning bolts? Check,
Burning swords? Check.
Things on fire? Check.
Burn EVERYTHING? Check.

Many whitewolf RPG PC (which i used to play a lot) has either no fire related abilities or has it very indirectly or with a minor role. Vampire (the masquerade), Hunter, Werewolf and even Mage (dark ages, ascension) has very minor emphasis on fire. None of these games has 'Fire as an Element'. For instance, mage has 'Forces' sphere (only 1 of 9 total spheres) but this includes countless sources of force (ie. gravity, magnetism, cold, lightning, earthquake, momentum and fire etc). You, as a vampire PC, don't walk around casting fire spells either although you still have tons of magical abilities. They are still very high quality RPG games.

Card game ? I only have a history of MtG. I played a little bit of star wars card came and i don't recall it having Fire Element cards. There is also this popular flash game in Kong: Tyrant. It is military based and i suppose you can't really count the explosions caused by weapons as Fire Element ?

Fire element cards are indeed focused on burning and destruction like you said. Although, it should include different aspects too. For instance, fire has been worshipped as an element of purification for thousands of years. But the card Purify was only given to water element. See my Card idea submission. That is a fire temple of purification. (His back left hand carries a purifying flame (agni) ... grasping a trident that Lord Shiva holds (trishul), and beating a drum(the damru which is lord Shiva's instrument) from which all of the sounds of the universe emanate ...")

But other than that, fire in Rage Potion is a metaphor, it is not really about burning stuff. Seraph is divine. Lava Golem is a machine. Shard of bravery has nothing to do with burning but another metaphor for Fire being confrontational and unyielding. Brimstone Eater is a sulfur eating bug, which doesn't have to be burning.

However, when I first saw you on the forum, you were competing with deuce in the Aether Trials, then I saw you competing on Team Air in War and now you are here in Fire Trials, and all these things leave me in confusion. Please tell me which is your favorite element if you have any.

That being said, i like all the elements and is one of the top on my list. The reason why i played in team and now challenging is something to do with my self entertainment and i also like out of comfort zone challenge. I would be delighted to elaborate these reasons on chat if you like to do so. I am not after personal glory but I believe it is already time for me to officially lead a team.

Hello. There are a two factors that will effect my willingness / amount of bids on you: Static and Dynamic.

Static factors 
These are irrelevant of the auction process. They don't change by who else is applying or who bids on you, hence they are static.
Your character as a person, your capabilities as a possible teammate, your application, my initial interview with you. Are you dedicated ? Are you active ? How well can you grasp and solve the problems ? Are you compatible, team player ? In conclusion: Does your value fit to my needs ? Are my team's demands satisfied by your personal supplies ?

Dynamic factors
These are the factors which are sub-functions of the auction process. They change by every bid made to any person in the auction. They change depending on who else is available for hire. Are you the better available option ? Are you cheap enough ? What are my other bids ? Who else did i ensure that i will hire ? Do i want to tactical bid on you or the others ? Who else is bidding on you and do i want to sabotage ?


I can't speak about dynamic factors because they are too obscure and in the future. As for the static factors, you seem to be an enthusiastic new player. I am known to promote your type in auctions, i have advocated several newbies that i don't know in the past. On the plus side, you seem to be interested in war even in the trials phase. So yes, there is a chance i will bid on you, i won't just pass your application without really considering. But i can't give promises this early.
