if STANDIN, which i believe ill be Cal, was to be included in the poll, who do you think would get most votes and why?
I'd like to think I would get more votes, because people are starting to believe in me as Master of Entropy (or I'd like them to, at least). I may not be Calindu-level yet, but I'm not that far off anymore.
iancu, you've said some harsh words to the Fire participants in their voting thread for these Trials.
I hope they don't mind me asking you this on their behalf - do you think you will make a worthy Master of Entropy this term?
Do you think you are likely to gain or lose votes in your own poll based on your treatment of these players?
How will you respond if there is a large number of None Worthy votes, as we saw in last year's poll?
I'm curious to know what you think. Good luck in the final battle!
I've asked a few people if they thought it was too harsh, and they've said it wasn't. Now, there have been some harsher questions asked in trials and nobody cared, so I don't really see why the sudden change of attitude towards this. To be fair, "harsh" is subjective, so I don't think this should be debated any further.
Yes, I do believe I make a worthy Master of Entropy and will continue to do so if I win the final battle.
I don't think I will win nor lose votes based on questions I've asked. If that was the case, then I should just go and compliment every trialist in the hope of getting their votes, which I believe would be a very hypocritical thing to do. I'd like people to appreciate my sincerity.
I'd be quite sad, but that simply means I have to work harder, which I will regardless of the result of the polls.
To be fair, he was harsh to us Fire Trialists, but let me ask this:
Were those harsh words meant to let us strive for better; to correct our mistakes?
A little bit of both. To be able to improve, you have to know where you currently stand.
Pick a random number between 1 and 4, X. Out of all the current challengers in Trials #11, pick your top X choices that you would've liked to see/face in the Final Battle here, assuming that elemental dedication/skill/etc carry over. Explain why!
I'm going to assume "challengers" includes current masters.
dark ripper - I would've really liked to face him in the final battle. He's a good friend of mine and it would've been a lot of fun regardless of the result. Unfortunate that RL didn't let him continue trials.
Afdarenty (Busyrenty) - My best friend. Somehow always knows what I'm going to build even when I try to think outside the box. RNG helps me against him in those situations though. We didn't really get the chance to "hang out" due to him being busy IRL.
JonathanCrazyJ - Again, really good friend and cool person. Would've been a lot of fun. Somehow he always beats me, so I would've liked to be given the chance to fight him on even ground.
rob77dp - He always tries to build interesting decks and it's always a blast playing against him. Timezones make this difficult sometimes though.
What would help entropy more in the next war, the absence of shards or less overall upgrades?
As much as I love SoSe, it's just not good enough when compared to the other shards. The absence of shards like SoP would definitely help. Less overall upgrades would also help, since Discord becomes a lot more powerful, grabbows are harder to counter and Entropy Stalls get more time to set up. If I had to choose between no shards and less upgrades, I'd choose no shards.
For a long time now, your avatar has been Kakashi Hatake, from naruto. If Kakashi was to play element, would his favorite element be entropy? if not, what element would it be? And why?
Well, let's see. He's been through a lot, lost almost every single person he cared about and would do anything to keep his comrades safe. He's also cool and calculated, smart and can copied over a thousand techniques. With those things in mind, I think his favourite element would be Aether, due to cards like mindgate to copy, dim shield to protect his comrades and lightning/psion to defeat his enemies (the technique he created himself is Lightning Blade)
@ all, but especially the ones who will face STANDIN: Can you build a team that you can lead to victory? I believe this will have the following aspects: Can you yourselves build good decks to beat your opponents? Can you predict and counter them with your element? Can you draft a Team that is a capable of doing that whenever you cant? Will you be able to inspire your teammates to do all in their power to fight for the win in every game? Can you infect others with your enthusiasm for your element (if you have any in the first place)? And most importantly: Will you put the necessary time investment in all those things?
The answer to all of these questions is "yes".
@All: What does being a Master mean? What kind of traits will you exemplify as a Master?
@All: Pick a character, real or fictional, to personify yourself. Justify your answer.
Being a master means that when people think about that certain element, they think about the master of that element. A master should also ideally lead his team in war.
As most people know already, I like Kakashi Hatake and I think me and him are a bit alike in the way that I don't talk too much, I'm a calm person, and I care a lot about the people around me.
@All : Analyse your performance in trials so far (both phases) in a critical manner. Where did you go right? Where did you go wrong? What would you change if you could?
I think I did fairly well in Phase 1 (I mean, I got 6 out of 8 points, so it must've been good). I screwed up in Phase 2. Blaming RNG a bit here, but I can't deny it's 90% my fault for not spending enough time on mindgating. The other 10% is SoSe giving me crap cards
. If I could change anything, I'd simply try to improve on the mindgate part.
For everyone that Trials for their favourite element:- What is your second favourite element?
- If you end up not becoming a Master for your favourite element, will you consider an approach from WMs to General your second-fave/third-fave/what-have-you element? (Quite unlikely, but hey )
For the sake of argument, assume that you are not a WM yourself, just in case you're thinking 'I'm a WM, there's no way the WMs will approach me to Gen'.
My second favourite element is
. I wouldn't like being general for any other element than
.
What's your reason for joining the element you're trilling for?
If you become master, what are your plans in war and brawl?
I joined it because it's my favourite element and I also happen to be Master of Entropy already. I'm willing to hold my title.
I will lead team Entropy in war and try to do better than last war. I couldn't care less about Brawl.
