(Part I Wiki Article)
Thanks goes out to Jdmt for letting me write about his study.

Part II (making a unique FG deck)
Alright here is my FG deck. This actually is my very first deck i tried creating for this trial. I ended up making no alterations although halfway through i'm sure i would have. After beating 6 FG's fairly quick i ran into a rough patch so i tried creating a couple other decks that were complete fail (a 54 card timebow and a water/death deck). Afterwords i decided to go back to my original hoping that i could just somehow knock off the other 6 FG's. Surprisingly i ended up beating the next 6 in a reasonable amount of time but i had a minor mishap where when i defeated Miracle for my final win i accidently saved it over my DreamCatcher file. Luckily enough i ended up with DC again and managed to beat him.

The ? mark is the deathstalker. Honestly for the most part the deathstalker really is not a great card for this deck. I would have been better off with just 3 recluses i think. Shields really mess this card up and most of the FG's have shields that completely block it. I did get a few wins fractaling the deathstalker but i think a recluse would have been just as good.

All and all though it's not a bad deck and i think my record was something like 13-25. Had to reset so many matches since i kept getting the same FG's i beat over and over. Never did get to face Paradox or Divine Glory.

If i had to fix the deck i would take out the deathstalker, replace it with another recluse and maybe throw in another lobotomizer. Getting an early lobotomizer really is critical in a lot of the matchups. Also maybe another death tower but pushing the deck to 38 probably wouldn't be wise.

Code: [Select]
6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 710 710 710 710 710 710 710 710 713 713 719 719 719 719 71a 71b 71b 71e 7ta 7ta 808 808 808 808 808 808 808 80d 80d 80e 80i 80i
Chaos Lord
An early fractaled recluse allowed me to bust through his dis shield. Deathstalker.... useless

Decay
My bone shield was over 60 at one point. He got out a late eclipse and i didn't play mine. The additional poison from the deathstalker did help here since that dusk shield is pretty annoying.
Dream Catcher
Gotta get lucky vs DC. First game i beat him i had an early lobo and actually had to lobo 3 butterfly effects and lucky enough each time he either didn't have enough :entropy or just chose not to blow anything up. 2nd game i was able to bonewall/plague combo him enough and early fractal recluse did enough damage. Obviously by looking at the screenshot i barely pulled this one out.
Elidinis
Early lobo made this game easy.

Fire Queen
Early lobo again made this easy. Had a fun 67 poison counter here but a fractaled recluse would have worked as well.

Graviton
Fractaled Deathstalker helped here since it poisoned the oty's and getting a 22 poison counter was helpful since i probably would have run out of creatures.

Incarnate
Incarnate's pretty hard with this deck. You just have to hope he doesn't throw up bonewalls. Got lucky here since i think he only threw up one and the poison from the deathstalkers were key.

Miracle
Another hard FG for this deck (took me 4 tries i think). This deck just doesn't have enough stall and they can get damage out pretty quick. One game i had a 10 attack pegasus out first round. In the 2nd round he had 13 attack and was doing 26 with dive. Needless to say that was a quick game. In the game i won i got lucky because he played a Light Dragon the turn before or he would have miracled.

Morte
Fractaled recluse for the win. I'm actually surprised i was able to get wins vs both the bonewall/plague decks. Once those walls get up and they start chaining them it's almost impossible to beat especially since my CC will only make their wall bigger and they have plenty of CC as well.
Neptune
Well we all know Neptune is lol. Are there FG farm decks that actually lose to him?

Obliterator
Just need to be fast and hope he doesn't get a pulvy up and momentumed creatures. I think it took me 6 tries for this one and admit this win won't happen very often.
Osiris
Barely held him off for the win here. Early lobo really is the only way you win here.

Cool deck MrBlonde.  I'm liking seeing people come up with crazy new FG decks!

Your image for Dreamcatcher isn't formatted right, there's no image in the spoiler, just a heads up

I found an extra bracket laying around all by it's lonesome so he got deleted... Was wondering where he belonged. Thanks!

I'm assuming I get 1 point for finishing after the deadline.  Oh well, consequences of my actions (or in this case, lack of!).

Yeah, so did I.  It eventually came down to me waking up two mornings in a row to pound that out, and I wasn't satisfied with the few card ideas I came up with.  An Anti-FG deck just wasn't my strong point.
